<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Austin @ Jul 23 2009, 09:08 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>For me, this is why Mladin never has been and never will be a fan-favorite. He always gets in these little hissy fits about other riders and never comes out and says what he wants to say. Rather he uses current events to harass them.

For example, it's clear he's not a fan of JRP which is fine, he has every right to say so. But why on earth would you back the group that you have been feuding with for the better part of a year against a fellow rider who wasn't at fault merely because you have a grudge? Or like the days when he used to call Eric Bostrom a crybaby because his bored out Kawasaki 750 couldn't keep up with the Suzuki 1000. When in all reality, Mladin really wanted to shout from a mountain top :"Why is this guy more popular than me!?! I bust my ... everyday while he goes out a surfs and climbs mountains and finishes behind me and everyone still likes him more than me!" There are a few other incidents with Spies, Hodgson, Duhamel and B. Boz that have made Mladin look rather childish but can't remember all of them off the top of my head.

Even in the days where all the fans and riders, including Mladin, seem to be untied against DMG he manages to be an ....... and alienate himself yet again.

Povol just reduced my life by a few years with that post. My blood pressure would like to say: ".... you very much povol"

Luckly I was on a break at work, so I took a walk and got some fresh smog in my lungs. A few deep breaths later and I was ready to log back on.

Then I read your post Austin. I'm not 100% yet, but your post has gone a log way toward restoring my heart rate. Thanks bro.

(BTW, I see you haven't forgot the Mladin crying about Eboz's 750, neither have I.)

.... MLADIN!

Damn you Pov! You screwed up a perfectly good meat and cheese sandwich.

I do what I can. I have a lot of Mladin aggression that is rearing it's ugly head. Nicky only won because of the RC51. E. Boz was a crybaby because he should have signed for a manufacturer that produced a literbike. Duhamel was washed up and an ........ B. Boz didn't care about racing. Hodgson is a has-been nobody. Spies only won because he didn't have any pressure on him and the AMA 'wasn't out to get him'. ....... Mladin...

"Foot previously shot multiple times with shotgun placed in mouth, or in other orifice.

Are you kidding me? This, from an executive at DMG, in speaking to the press on the prevailing issue of the day?"

&

"Obviously, it's completely irrelevant to Ollie Dean or DMG that the rule book states that motorcycles homologated for American Superbike need to be street-legal or street-certified. According to Dean, and this is a world-championship-asinine statement in my opinion, the important thing for everyone to consider in this is that bikes like Mat Mladin's Superbike, or Chaz Davies' Aprilia or the 600 of some kid in Supersport, as they are raced, are not street legal. So why would the 1125RR need to be street legal, right?"

"I spent most of Saturday afternoon planning to send Ollie Dean a trophy for uttering the most asinine statement in the history of AMA Superbike racing."

I said during the off season, for the sake of racing, I had wished Mladin would not have returned to the AMA this year. I was quite frankly tired of watching his run away wins (except of course during the Spies days) and have always felt he was above the rest and should be competing with his peers in WSBK (aka he has been sandbagging). The odds were looking good that he wouldn't come back, instead he did and has been running his mouth off all year. Plenty of what he says is justified (DMG are terrible), plenty is just plain ......... I for one hope DMG have scared him away and next season he will bugger off. I still can't believe Suzuki would pay him as much as he is alleged to earn. With exception of the title I don't see how he would be much of a marketing tool with all the wonderful "talk" he gives.
