thank for the complement mate :D
a. i would be pleased
b. i would be annoyed.
dont get me wrong mate, i can understand some stoner fans getting a bit miffed by people who give him no credit, like i get a bit miffed when people say rossi is past it and a whiner. its all fun even if it does get a bit tedious sometimes.
we all hear what we want to hear and see what we want to see sometimes, like rossi and stoner where all human. ;)

I actually do have a sense of humour (I hope) but I am a luddite and not very good with the emoticons etc. In any case I enjoy the forum and would not like to see it disintegrate.

Makes you wonder.....

2008 is Rossis' last CONTRACTED year with Yamaha... I think we will see a move not AWAY from MotoGP, rather to another BIKE.

good to see you putting that point of view across steve, sometime's before we judge we should sit back and honestly think what we would do and say in a similar situation.
i think rossi genuinely admires stoner, ducati and bridgstone for the ace job they have done and in contrast is right pissed off with himself, yamaha and michelin for the below par job they have done, that no whining, thats venting frustration.

Totally agree Roge!!! Yeah and stoner and Rossi are really good mates...they seem very friendly and with no problems...as a matter of a fact I really think that Casey has tremendous respect for Valentino!!!...You can see it by his persona when his with Valentino!!!

No it would be a tremendous contest but!!!...then why don’t all the riders join Ducati, Bridgestone’s then...There would be no more excuses in 2008!!!...what a piece of brilliance!!! That’s the answer to the motoGP woes!!!...Simple!!!

You would have to get the ducati supermotard then.

I would support pedrosa if he moved to ducati. From my admittedly somewhat ignorant perspective, I have always thought they were by far the coolest bikes.

Yup, and I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to get a Ducati ride-see out his career as champ on an Italian bike, food for thought eh?

Rossi is just pissed he's not winning...

wouldn't you be? Ducati have pulled Yamahas pants down this year, Stoner has ridden great, i'm an avid Rossi fan but Yamaha and Michelin have both ...... up this year!!

yup. as ive just said in another post, theres only so much a rider can do ,no matter who he is.

At least Rossi has been positive in his last press release saying that he hopes to win the last 5 races of the year and that he thinks michelin have bought in some better rubber. Hope that's the case so Casey can spank him some more without hearing the Rossi fanclub whining away like they have all season!

Get your nomenclature straight Son, we call them the "mindless cheerleaders" around here.

Oh Rog, you know I'm just messing with you buddy. But you seem a little angry lately, what's up. Don't worry, on my last prediction, I was very close to putting Rossi on the podium, I'm just a mindless Hayden cheerleader and couldn’t manage to put Rossi ahead of him. But I do think if it’s a Michelin race, then Rossi will be ahead of Stoner. Well at least I'm hoping. I’m starting to warm my heart to Rossi on account of all the Stoner worshiping lately. haha. I think Bikergirl was right when she said I had turned away some potential Hayden fans due to my staunch Hayden defense. But I don't think I ever said Hayden would win for the next 100K years.

Don't let it bother you roger, this is comming from the type of person who thinks casey was sabotaged last year, and only got beaten by dani on 250's because the factory aprilia just wasn't good enough

yeah maybe, but its the same for Honda. I think Hayden is in a worse situation - he's reigning world champion and we've seen a defense that's as strong as well... Robert's was
<
the people that said his crown was a fluke are being proved right, and he cant do a damn thing about it! at least people still think Rossi is a fantastic rider and they assume it must be the bike... and i dont see Hayden moaning half as much as Rossi does.

A fluke? Hayden has impressed me more than any of the other Honda riders, Pedrosa and Melandri included. His recent form has been very good, three podiums in the last five races is not a very bad title defence in my book!

no no no you misunderstand. I dont think him winning was a fluke, i think Hayden is awesome and was well deserving of the crown. i was just saying that others do...

granted, his results recently (not including misano) are much much better because he have the old Hayden back- loose rear etc.- now honda have let him turn traction control down he can perform, but before that you have to admit, it was looking pretty dismal for him

Yea if he plays his cards right he might get a ride with D'Antin.
