Contract should have never been given to C.O.W , take the British gp back to Donington !

Awesome!!

He's being sarcastic ;)

Fact is, despite saying work was going to start over 2 years ago, not so much as a hole has been dug. Now all this BS about how they are going to have all these other facilities there, how about they start the track before worrying about all the other stuff?

As I've said before. This is just a scheme by some businessmen to make some public money dissappear into their own pockets.

Oh. bugger. got all excited for a minute would have been nearer for us in Cornwall , and i hate Silverstone.. :(

Its a joke, it'll never happen thank god. if the taffs want it then they can pay for it.

Given that yet another major employer in South Wales (Ford) is looking to lay 1000 people off in 2020, I think the Welsh Government have bigger issues on their hands than paying for a race circuit, like feeding 1000 jobless families.

Circuit of Wales bought FTR. FTR is no more.
....... strange company.

Just stinks to high heaven, someone is getting rich of this on taxpayers money.

Was just about to post a link to the BBC report into same story. It claims that COW has the rights to motogp till 2024. I thought it was an initial 5 year deal. Where did the futher 5 years come from and more importantly why???

Who'd have thunk that this project was being run by crooks and charlatans??? Certainly pulled the wool over my eyes!!!!!!

Absolutely no surprise. It will never get built and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised to see someone getting prosecuted for fraud.

I agree with the first part.
Can't see the second happening in modern Britain. With all the politicians and money men involved, there'll be another cosy cover up and it'll be swept under the Ebbw Vale hills. Nothing to see here, move along!!!!

I agree but like Deefer points out, I seriously doubt anyone least of all the boss will get prosecuted. By the time you've added in the politicians who have encouraged this fraud along with the so called community experts, we'd be on a hiding to nothing in taxpayers outlays to get a proper trial.
