I have seen a few names on here that look familiar from the CEII forum. Do any of you know why he shut it down?

I was always on that site...From what I remember it was due to too many negative comments....Just like Nicky's site(there are a few people around here who were really involoved with Nicky's site who can give a real answer).

yeah, i think this was it.

remember when this forum went offline for a couple days for similar reasons?

not sure why things get that way on forums, but you know how it goes. i think if you checked every single post (for example) here on motogpforum, you'd have well north of a 90% waste factor. that's a lot of BS to wade through just to find some really goods posts or people.

Yeah it kinda turned into a huge bar room brawl, I don't blame him for shutting it down and admire him for attempting to make some kinda of connection like that to his fans.

The thing that drove me away was all the fckd up animated graphics that everybody was using, I couldn't read the text for all the a$$ spinning and .... flopping jpegs.

Its an inherent problem with forums unfortunatley.

Even of dedicated fan sites like Nickys & Colins you'd expect less bitching than here, as they are really all about one rider (granted they got trolls stirring the ....).

Motogp.com shut their forum down for the same reasons, to hard to monitor and too many nob jockeys intent on stirring the poo.

The problem is opinions, and everyone has one!

I dont know I like reading this for practice of english but I find it has much more arguing and fight than any italian or japanese message board I read!

Couldnt tell you a reason for that tho!

a-so(le) so you reading italian and japanese too?

Well while we are talking of Edwards site:

I am a big CE fan and really wanted him to have more success than he has had. But it is good to see that he has gone to a developing team. It would be great to see him help take tech 3 to the next level. It would be great to see him help Toseland move up to the front.

It appears that he has accepted is role in motogp as a racer/developer. He has the interpersonal skills to help Tose and be a cohesive presence in the Tech 3 garage.
