Casey tells Rossi to 'stop whinging'

Seriously, Rossi gives Stoner all this credit throughout the year, saying what a great rider he is and how well he's riding, and this is how Stoner returns the compliment? I think Stoner should keep his mouth shut from now until the end of the season.

Stoner might need a good punch in the throat.

I cant believe the amount of people on here that see Rossi thru rose colored glasses!

Are u serious mate? Its GP racing, it's not a mutual admiration society!

The only compliments Rossi pays Casey are backhanded, often followed by the quote "..but the season is very, very long." Rossi was all smiles with Hayden last year, because he knew in his heart that he was a better rider than Hayden, & that his reign would not last long. Hayden has no balls & wouldn't say anything cos he didnt want to upset Rossi, but Casey is a different story altogether, he doesnt fear Rossi & he's not going anywhere & Rossi knows it.....

... & so do his fans....

I don't think that's quite accurate mate, Hayden's just not the sort of guy that plays mind games, he's just honest.

To flip your suggestions over the other way, have you thought that Nicky never said anything to upset Rossi because he actually respects him and doesn't need to start .... when his riding can talk for him. Casey perhaps feels threatend by Rossi and feels the need to hit out and defend himself because he has no balls.

Casey is spot on. The tyre rule sucks for Rossi because Michelin aren't doing a good enough job. "We need more tyres" Why? If the 17 rears and 14 fronts aren't doing the business, slag the company not the rules.

The rules even the playing field and Michelin have done an average job of adjusting to them given their dominance of previous seasons. I wouldn't say the tyres are crap, they have been on the podium plenty of times this season, just not the top step often enough.

Europe hasn't turned out to be the happy hunting ground Michelin expected and Rossi must be worried about the last seven races. Given Casey's form he'll be in the hunt for a win at every one of them.

I cant believe the amount of Stoner bandwagoniers there are in here.

Woohoo, another one who thinks I'm a serious Rossi fan. I am so far a fanboy of the following riders:
Rossi (two or three people have said I have a pro-Rossi bias)
Stoner
Elias
Hayden (again, two or three people have said I have a pro-Hayden bias)

And in reality the only rider I ever really supported was Cardoso

Honesty doesnt win races(well not many in Haydens case).

Do u think Rossi is honest?

I say start the mind games!!! Let it rip!

Just like Mick, (& indeed Rossi later on) with Biaggi!

But apparently it does win you a championship, so maybe its not that bad an idea

And no, Rossi plays more mind-games than anyone else in MotoGP.

Nice try mate, you gotta start somewhere! As an Australian, I support the Australian rider. That flag at the bottom of ur avatar doesnt look like the Italian flag to me.... Who's the bandwagoner?...

Considering you all popped up here THIS year and not last year, it is a bit suspect, no?

Casey has every right to say what he did, but he should be a bit more respectful.

thats good.... see rather than trying to change the rules it would be easier if he just switched to bridgestone

I'm glad I don't work by that logic. My Israeli side would be waiting decades until a decent Israeli rider turned up, and my English side would have spent last year cheering on James Ellison. Waste of time either way

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>Interestingly, Rossi's crew chief, Australian Jerry Burgess, is in favour of keeping the rules as they are.

"The tyre rule has not been the main reason for Valentino not winning races this season," he said enigmatically, "I like the rule, it's equal for everyone and think it should stay."

I wonder what Burgess thinks is the main reason for Rossi not winning.. the bike? Rossi? hmm..
