<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Casey Stoner said he was looking forward to getting back to training, and going into the off-season without needing surgery. He is now "70% sure" that the mystery illness that has plagued him this season is down to lactose intolerance, as he accidentally ate something which had lactose in, and suffered a minor return of symptoms over the weekend. Part of Stoner's winter will involve more tests, to try and nail down the problem for certain.

Is it just me, or did his symptoms seem a bit extreme for lactose intolerance?

Not just you. And did he just start on milk and cheese this season? This doesn't seem to have been a problem in his last 20 years of riding.

I know I already used this today but I guess a spade is a spade.

Ohhh... that's why he high-sided on the warm-up... trying to get another "rest"...

Do I have to say "just joking" for the sensitive...

Not all of us are able to consume balls like yourself and pinkster. Put me in with cs in the balls intolerant category please.

Nobody on here has ever done that, and it's highly unlikely that they ever will

Wow......this is becoming bigger than the WMD's BS! Somehow I can't imagine the world's best doctors missing something like Lactose Intolerance!

Hard to imagine that CS and his team still haven't really come up with an accurate, factual diagnosis for why he missed 3 months of racing this year.

Without being silly, though its easy to do here, it would seem somewhat scary that they don't know what happened and what caused it, then it has every chance of re-occurring in the future.

Maybe at least an admission that part of the problem was indeed mental may help them all to move on and deal with it if it comes up again.

Yeah, because if not... Why in hell would Stoner be drinking/eating anything wrong on Saturday nights? I mean, usually he got bad by race day! Or is it a Lactose intolerant Sunday thing?
