<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (povol @ Jul 10 2007, 09:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Way to change the subject Roger, where did i ask you to repeat yourself. You were proven wrong AGAIN and you accused me of changing my story. You are allways making outlandish staements that some people call you on and some dont.I will call ........ when someone habitually makes silly statements without thinking them thru.Had i made the silly statement that aging has no effects on performance and some one showed me in black and white that it without a doubt does,i would have to say i was wrong. But you dont have it in you i guess.
you have it in black and white how everybody ages's and how that effects there performance levels, then post it !! talk is cheap and you sure have a lot of talk.
what outlandish statements ? you mean i disagreed with you, i posted several top class riders that surpassed you 24-30 age so you then upped to 35 when talking about world championships, well doohan was 33,but i suppose everything changes in 2 years right
<
you then went on to say .Age is a huge factor in performance weather it be reflexes or just desire. now if that aint an outlandish statement then i dont no what is.
everbody is different so how you can just generalise like this is just a joke. ever heard the expression "late bloomer"

A) drink way to much or
B) you just dont comprehend stuff.or
C) you really like to argue and make a fool of yourself.

D) All of the above.

D) All of the above.

(Don't take it to heart buddy, I'm just having a laugh at your expense).

Well maybe you should, it may help with your credibility when formulating an opinion.

He he, thanks RJ. I could argue we were speaking of racing and not MotoGP exclusivly. F1, WSB and others series may change the picture. But let that rest, I'm man enough to admit I got that one wrong.

I still think though that allthough a persons peak physical performance may be between 24 and 30 many racers are at their best in their early thirties.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Racejumkie @ Jul 10 2007, 10:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Oh don't worry about it Povol. Trust me I have shown (as oppose to just say) Roger (and a few others here like Babel) plenty of times that they are flat wrong, don't expect an acknowledgment of it.

Ah, you have proven what? Not a .... is what you have proven against me.
In fact I forgot to add in the previous post that I will eagerly wait for the moment you are man enough to admit any fault, but I'm not holding my breath allthough the list is long enough.

Just to show good will and so that we avoid you making an ... out of yourself, again: You didn't prove I was wrong regarding Rossi's tire at Le Mans. Rossi/JB and Michelin all cleard that up a few days later, while you came along 3 days after the race, pointing out the obvious, in addition to all that rossi google .........

Im curious, just what do you see when you look at this list? What do you conclude? What am i missing? 24 out of 30 champions were 30 or less.Im not a math wizard but those are pretty overwhelming numbers.Oh,and one more time,i never moved the goal post and i didnt up any number. The 35 number was in the original post where i stated i couldnt remember a 35 year old champion. You took it and ran with it and twisted it to your liking as usual.

In Kawasaki's official release on the Hopkins signing, they mention they are very close to signing a proven race winner. Sounds like a done deal, Capirossi will go green for 2008.
