I say "No".  But the theory of quantum mechanics predicts that any result is possible - including SupaShinbone making a sensible posting on this forum

Race.. Yes.. Qualifying.. Doubt it.. Wait are Michelin overnights coming back mid season?

The Goat i love but he's done getting older + plus 2 yrs on a pig GP has come a long way in that time.

yes he has a good chance in the year but its not looked great so far and maybe many expected more. i didnt he's a great number 2 seat guy.

and needs to look at what he wants to do and how to bow out.its going to happen for sure

I agree. He should retire while he still has some shine left on his crown.

Crutchlow pretty much has his number this season.

Go race rally cars Rossi. You are still fast but not competitive.

Go help develop the Aprilia as a full factory prototype

Dani and Jorge has him by  4/10th to 6/10ths at every track.

I have a better question. Will VR finish ahead of Cal in final classification points?

"POLL?, Can Rossi beat Lorenzo at least once in a Race or Qualifying this season ?"

Obviously Cal has it wrong Poll Espagaro must be the boss of Yamaha!! if someone is asking Pol for permission for Rossi to get a win.

I hope they don't let him cos it could ruin Lorenzos attempting to stay in the WC with the amazing Dani.

My Initial thought is no.

However you cannot underestimate Rossi,

Maybe towards the end of the season, say PI he may take one.

@ Willski. I don't believe he will old chap!

Go Cal!!!!

Odds are that Lorenzo will probably have an off in a race at some point in the season.

I think head to head Rossi won't beat him in a race, but at the point where Lorenzo dumps it in a sand trap, then yes.

Rossi's record is still the best of all time, no question, but I think karma has bitchslapped him in the face just to level him up a little, and I think that he has lost some of the self belief that he is genuinely the best.  He's putting on a brave showing, but he's getting older and I don't think he is going to get faster.

In a straight fight, not a hope in hell. If Jorge comes off or it's raining, then yes.

Le Mans.

If one race would have pissed him off, it would have been that one. Lorenzo out at sea, and VR bins it with a Ducati pulling away from him...it's not enough to just beat your team-mate in those circumstances.

If Rossi and Lorenzo were involved in a battle and were running similar pace, you really think Lorenzo would win? Rossi is still extremely good at battling. He seems to be able to pass any other rider at will as soon as he gets close enough.

Evidence of this in Season 2013?
