Can Marquez Bested At Silverstone?

I'm gonna stick with 'Kroppers.'

Rhymes with 'Boppers' and integrates a free poo-poo joke.  (It's perfect for Powerslide!)

Comes with a bonus verb, 'Kropping.'  "To fawn obsequiously over Marc Marquez."  ;)

Marquie Farquers is a close second, but anyone who takes the time to look up 'farquing' :yuk:

will probably want to move on to another candidate nickname.

Wish I read the thread before posting!

My bookie has Marquez at 1/4 for the win. No money to be made.

100 units bet - 125 units returned minus 5 units for a net of 120

CC and VR are at 14 for the win

100 units bet - 1500 units returned minus 5 units for a net of 1495

Seems as if the book is afraid to go against Marc at this time.

There is still more money to be made betting on MM than on CC or VR despite the odds.

The world according to Kropo:

No its not that the Spanish National series (that nobody other than Dorna have ever heard of) is a de facto FEEDER into GP, they are just better than everybody else.

No, Dorna don't favor the Spanish, the rules they removed were just a series hinderance to everybody, really.

No, Marc wasn't on a cheater bike, despite other riders and paddock insiders claims, not just the branded conspiracy theorist, the theory proposed by his team that he turns the throttle more is the truth, really.

No, here is the proof that Marc wasn't on a superior bike in Moto2, look at him now, doing the same on the superior bike in MotoGP.

No, Dorna are all about the integrity of the sport, they really are upset that Spaniards keep getting signed over more deserving riders.

Jumkie it's not possible for me to believe with you and Krop about DORNA being upset over anything except maybe misplacing five dollars. Greed is the only thing that concerns them.

He was being sarcastic whammy,     but I must ask Jum, why are you still watching?

Oops guess I stuck my neck in a noose. I actually thought he was reinforcing Krop's views.

Why does a junkie keep using smack?

Good job. Draw his attention away from me as I don't stand a chance of understanding one of his essays aimed at me.

Uhm, I've never thought about this as I've never been asked.  I'll get back to you when I can dream up an answer.

Krop is reporting that Jorge was posed the question on what strategy he could use to defeat the Honda's at Silverstone. Jorge reply was the same strategy as used at Brno. Jump to a lead and try to break them. Jorge seemed to think that is the only option at this time.

You know whats funny, up until just a couple of weeks ago, all you heard was Yamaha has to get the seamless transmission, Honda is gutting them out of the corners. Cant compete without it. Around that time, i made the statement that it looked like Honda was making up more time on entry than exit, and now all of a sudden Honda's brakes are the talk of the town.  Riders will never admit they are being outridden, has to be the bike. Meanwhile, that pig ... piece of .... just went faster than the circuit lap record, and sets on top of the time sheets

A bike went faster this year with a year's worth of machine development and tires, than a bike in previous years?  Wow, that never happens.  You really are a genius, thanks for point this out Pov.

Noticed in FP1 that Jorge was following MM and watching his competition. MM ran off a couple times yet JL maintained his distance. Can only guess but Jorge was definitely studying MM for some reason. During FP2 the live feed I had did not show JL on his hot lap but rather the time just popped up on the timing crawl. Silverstone being a long track is going to cut Q2 to a 4 lap qualifying session. Riders need to be thinking ahead.

Actually, it happens all the time, In this case it needed pointing out.

You see, there is this guy on here who has has been raving like a madman

about how  inferior the Yamaha is, even though it had won 4 of 7 races

until its no1 rider got hurt..

He says the only way for a Yamaha to win now is rain,  to stumble on to

a perfect setup, opposition dies, or some other statistical anomoly.[ I

personally feel they will start winning again once their #1 rider is

healed 100 %]  You will know him when you see him. He is a very emotional

little guy who hates Spaniards,{ i think it s a cultural thing} and

composes 1000 word essays. Actually that would be a good nickname for him , 1000 word Esse.

Anyway, the Yamaha is looking pretty good this weekend, and If they win, the next couple of days will be awesome. This dude will not back down, matter of fact, he will double down on stupid. It makes for a fun time.

Smart move by Jorge in setting a new lap record. It does two things. First it serves notice that he is still in this fight and has not yet conceded this championship. Second it is going to put pressure on MM to equal or better him and maybe push too hard, exceeding his or the bikes limits, ending up crashing. It will be interesting these next two days watching this unfold.
