I figure he deserves his very own topic after watching him low side his way out of Q2 today.

When asked about today, Cuntslow had these gems to say.

“I'm not angry, I'm not pissed off. I'm disappointed that I'm on the third row, but that's racing,” said the LCR Honda rider.

“My pace is a lot faster than it looks on paper, but it's clear to see that all the Hondas are again not in the best shape. We're fighting a lot. But this is what we can do. We are working hard, my ideal [lap] is a good position, even without the last sector, and you always gain the lap time here in the last sector. I didn't get to do the last sector. I started it, but I never finished it.

“Overall, I'm happy, and we'll see tomorrow. Hand and ankle won't be a problem, I hope not.”

He added the hope not because by saying it won't be a problem, that would cut out any potential excuse for when he high sides in the middle of turn 3 tomorrow.

“Fundamentally the problem is rear grip, in the middle of the corner and the exit. And then we have to make everything in the braking. As it's clear to see, we're so strong in the braking, but there's only so late you can brake, and there's only so many risks you can take every lap.”

Meanwhile he loses grip entering a corner half of the time....

Seriously how the .... is this guy even on the LCR?

I'm not a Cal hater. If I had to pick a Brit it would be Smith for a number of reasons. Cal however just crashes WAY too much. He's never happy with the bike seemingly no matter what it is. I don't think you can badmouth multiple manufacturers for very long before you're basically going to be uninvited.

If you're handed a 5th place bike every weekend, placing it in 5th consistently will garner greater respect than I guy who occasionally over rides the bike into 2nd but spends most of his time in the gravel. Cal is doing himself a disservice by continuously laying it down and then complaining about the machine.

Cal spent all of his time at Ducati complaning about the machine until he quit his contract. Then was rewarded by getting a factory RCV, which at the time was the undisputed best thing ever (well at least until the sudden and recent revisions all over the place). Now he's used that previous tactic to complain again that it's everything else EXCEPT him. He crashed with regularity on the M1Yamaha Tech3, consistently on the Ducati, and now on the worx Honda RCV (not to mention the Bridgestone that "failed him".) Uhm, Cal, I have a question: what's the common denominator between You, M1, GP14, RCV, Bridgestone? Oh yeah...YOU!

He must be a Biaggi fan the way he goes on about the manufacturers bikes.

I'm kind of impressed how the media seems to avoid actually calling him out on anything that comes out of his mouth. But then again they are mostly busy trying to sell him as the next great thing out of Britain.

I highlighted his comments regarding putting himself and others at risk on the track. He said he couldn't see the bikes well and added, well as long as the others didn't get too close he was fine. I don't know how this has been glossed over by the media and pundits but I think it's criminal.

As a gentleman of the Isles of Great Britain, even I am finding it hard to find ANY half decent excuse for Cal Crashloads GP career.

As everyone else has said, he's moaned about every ride he's had. Instead of just riding that Tech3 bike and getting top 5, he started bitching about components, then got thinking he SHOULD be a factory rider. Bitched at Ducati, then gets a RCV....

Think he's starting to prove he should be lining up in WSBK

Crashlow crash's out in Q2 ....SURPRISE!

I'm willing to bet that he dumbs it in lap 12 of the race. I just can't say for sure who or what he will blame it on THIS TIME!

Crutchslow, Dovislowzo, both fakes.

They both should be fired. Dovislowzo is a good developer but is damn too conservative, he does not take any risks. This guy will never win a race again. Iannone, in fact, has more chances as even Paolo Ciabatti believes him more than Dovi, which is more like the Rubens Barrichelo of bikes.

I think Ducati should try Pedrosa, as NOW the GP15 is a smoother bike than RCV, that tiny guy could stress a bit less his playmobil arm. Also, Dani is a good developer. I think Pedrosa would love the new Ducati.

As for Crutchslow, britains forgive me, I never ever believed he could do something in MotoGP. He is part of the 2nd tier of riders. The 1st tier is Rossi, Marquez, Lorenzo and Pedrosa as we all know, the 2nd is Dovi, Crutchlow, Iannone and maybe Spargaro brothers.

Ducati desperately needs an alien for 2016. I sincerely do not believe Gigi will see his very anticipated 1st win this year.

Pretty certain Ducati will never win with either of their current riders. The bike should have won a few races already, but slow riders who periodically overachieve don't win you titles as Cuntslow shows us every race weekend.

Please, I hope he is in WSBK within 2 seasons.

I don't have time for this little .... occupying valuable grid space. I'm pretty certain Danny Kent could outride this clown.

Disagree. I think Dovi is as agressive as Rossi. Watch when somebody tries to overtake him, he always puts up a fight UNLIKE Pedrosa. I'm willing to bet Dovi ends up with more points than Iannone.

And can we put to rest this ........ about "elite/alien/1st tier" riders. Today proved yet again a rider for the most part is as good as his advantages. If we would have ranked the riders yesterday nobody sane would have put Alex or Vinalez in top 5. Yet today they sit on pole. Why? Is Espargaro better than Lorenzo? Of course not.

I contend that Honda and Yamaha have in essence been running a 'qualifier tire' TYPE advantage for years. Yet we have been tricked into thinking their riders are aliens compared to the rest.

i bet he'd do better on a pedal bike than he does on the RCV...

Cal is actually a pretty decent cyclist... I imagine he doesn't fall off as often

I have to say that I'm devastated by Cal recently...I watched him in 2003 in the R6 cup. He finished 2nd behind Tommy Hill. I loved Him in 2005 in British Supersport. Even though he finished 3rd in the series, I said to my Dad at Oulton Park, he's going to be real good. I loved him..he won it the next year.
Kept progressing. I loved him...proper bike racer. Now......

Cal has ambition, I can't dislike him for that. Does his ambition outweigh his talent? Possibly. I think on the Tech 3 he realised he was never going to be 'factory' and the only other option was Ducati. A lot had been made that the Ducati could only be ridden by Stoner, an aggressive style so Cal naturally assumed, despite having smoothed out for the Yam, he could just grab the GP by it's nuts and ring stoner like performance out of him. Then it bit him hard at Austin. It's funny how when he calmed down later in the year he got considerably better.

This year? Well I was chuffed when he finally stayed on it in Argentina.

I meant to reply to your post in the other thread about this and I forgot, but I totally agree. It's scary he was out racing if he was really that impaired. Very selfish if you ask me.

We're talking about riding bikes, not filling shitters.

I loved watching him in WSS, totally mental on that R6. I want him to do well, but he doesn't seem to be able to keep it up this yr. Mind you, Redding is staying on his RCV, but he's like 20 laps down each race.
