Cal Crutchlow???? WTF

motorcyclist and musicians are a strange lot. Even JKD played the recorder at school and has a tattoo that says "woodwind blows".

Funny thing is that I think I'm sheltered because i work for the Guvmint, I know I see a lot of stuff, but my party phenotype has some serious withdrawal issues.

Hello to our new Australian friend. I know someone who will like your posts.

Marquez and Dani are both physically small enough to ride a ...., and by that I mean a rooster. The have an annual festival in spain where all the riders of motogp bikes and horses, i think they are called jockeys, parade up the street of some town on the backs of roosters.

The call it .... of the walk or gallo de la caminata.

People with animal fetishes are said to experience rapture at the event.

Cal on the other hand eats .... (and again I mean a rooster) - he just has those wild staring eyes and then bites their heads off al la Ozzy Osbourne. It is said to upset both Dani and Mark who are .... riders and particularly Albert the Pig, a .... lover also so Cal won't get a team mate position on a good team until he learns to be "nicer" to Spanish .....

BJ, I live in Murwillumbah,

Murwillumbah is that shady bit of water you avoid that marks the border between blue and brown.

To our east Golden Beaches, to our north the Gold Coast and all its yuppie trappings, home to Bayliss Doohan and many others including armies of blond haired blue eyed big titted strippers (blond blue and big all fake...)

To our west the slum of Nimbin and stench of soap phobic drug addled vegetarians driving old holdens that you fill with oil and check the petrol. A bunch of opinionated work refusing welfare collecting meaningless owners of pointless art and craft shops or crystals (including meth)

Also to our west in the other soap phobic vegetarians the Hari Krishnas (actually I know a heap of them and they ain't too bad), but they grow little onion headed children out in the hills (vegetarians don't have ...).

Everybody smells funny and cannabis grows like trees in the valleys that surround us. It is both the natural haunt of the environmentalist (in the pubs) of the dirt biker (in nature).

Truly God's country but to complete the paradox I am an atheist.

I can feel myself filling up... it's almost enough to make me want to forsake the insect-infested swamps of southeast asia :) If it wasn't for the awful beer and the waft of unwashed bodies I could probably tear myself from the sights of sweet thai/filipina/malay/dayak girls and take up surfcasting for great whites... ;)

Looks like Schwantz ruffled the ....'s feathers.

Alberto is in a tizzy because KS said despite his years in MotoGP 'Dani hasn't won anything.'  Puig's head is spinning, giving a list of all the lower categories and race wins Pedro has won.

Quick note: It may sound harsh to say 'Dani hasn't won anything.'  But I am reminded of Wayne Rainey's comment when asked about the rivalry between Biaggi and Ross, he responded: 'I haven't seen a rivalry, Biaggi hasn't won anything.'  (see movie Faster)  I guess premiere class titles are just a tad bit more important, eh...

Those panties are fully bunched...

And the best part is Puig can't read. Kevin said in EIGHT years Dani hasn't won anything. True. Alberto then brings up the titles Dani won previous to those eight years. And then the injures blah blah. You're on the best bike, ....... win or get the .... off.

I hope you guys are joking?

Here is Jumkie saying , at every opportunity, that Hayden is the best rider in his world, and the guy has 2? 3? race wins!!

Pedrosa, even though he has no WC's has over 20 wins in the premier class. He is always up near the front and most importantly ....... great to watch.

Even if he never wins a title he's been top 2/3 for many a year, take him away and what you are left with is just crappier.

Imagine a wc full of just riders the likes of the mid packers. We'd have Rossi in front always and Hayden following him around.

Pedrosa may never win a title, but he's waaaaaaayyyyy better than the remaining 20 or so riders.

1. I love nature documentaries and watching tadpoles hatch is awesome. In the same way that watching beaker ride is awesome. But not awesome like the way the other riders like Rossi or Marquez ride. Even George the conservative accountant is a million times more exciting to watch than beaker the hatching tadpole.

2. Really? He has only ever ridden the most monied factory ride ever, put him on or satellite or a Ducati and see how he goes, we can't really honestly completely 100% say in the fullest confidence that he is waaay better or even better period than the other riders. Some of the other riders have Premier class titles. Dano don't.

Kevin does have a premier class title. He doesn't pander to .... of the walk politics.

What is a VSG again? I can only think of acronyms that have names like ......l stink goo.

I like Cal. He is a good rider. A damn good rider, but not a great one. Last year was his real chance. To prove worthy of a Jap factory ride, he really needed to dominate Dovi (another good, but not a great rider). But he didn't do this.

However, I don't think we all need to put he boot into the guy...

You are fooling yourself ...... or are falling for Jumkies ........, if you think anybody else there would be as good as Pedro ........ except currently Marky and Jeorge. Rossi no .... Pedro is more talented, Rossi has more ambition yes but talent!!?? dream on. Dovi ?? maybe??

Who out there do you propose would be doing as good as Pedro? apart from those in that circle, who already have top rides.

Yes Kevin does have a title ( several if we count the "fastest mouth in the west" title   ) but I would proffer that back then he did not have the competition there is now. Back then USer's and Aussies could walk in and whoop all the euro's who seemed to be there for some continental "ride for the dole" scheme.

Doohan was the last of these "interlopers", he whooped somewhat more arse than Kevin, but he doesn't carry on like a ........ like Kev.

Pedro is todays Alex Criville, a very good rider  ......... one of the best in Euro ...... but always trumped by "someone". Imagine how boring Doohans era would have been without Criville.

What you guys are proposing is that Criville should have lost his seat, right when he was a front runner ......... what sort of idiotic logic is behind that thinking??.....

When you typed one line.

" <span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;Pedro is todays Alex Criville"

<span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;I realised we were nearly at agreeable terms. Alex was there as a good rider to fill a seat, as is Dani. I'm saying that with the advent of both Jorge and Marquez to suit Spanish .... walkers that Pedro's general irrelevance could see him go and it wouldn't matter diddly squat.

<span style="font-size:14px;Also, I have been on the anti Pedro bandwagon quite some time, around the 2007/2008 mark when he was bitching (through Albert the Pig) for Bridgestones. I believe my signature once read inter alia that he was the biggest traitor<span style="font-size:14px; in motorcycle racing in 2008.

<span style="font-size:14px;I think an analogy is in order. When I was in hospital on the real bad drugs I didn't poo so well so they gave me prunes. But once they did their job so to speak I didn't want to hang onto them. I just flushed them away.

<span style="font-size:14px;Pedro is a prune. Pedro the Prune. look into the motogp toilet<span style="font-size:14px; and know that he did a good job, but the time for prunes is over so just press flush because<span style="font-size:14px; the people who walk out nursing a poo go to the psych unit.

<span style="font-size:14px;Therefore all Dani fans are mentally unstable.

<span style="font-size:14px;It would also be fair if such a thing existed to let someone else have a crack at a seat he filled for 8 years without a title. Suzuki, Kawasaki and Ducati unloaded their non title riders quicker than that and they didn't have a snowflake's<span style="font-size:14px; chance in hell of actually winning a title.

<span style="font-size:14px;Honda had 8 good chances and Dani the Prune dropped every one of them in the ........ I just don't get prune loyalty.

Prune loyalty!

Speaking of Bowel Movements, BM, ur premise seems to be since he is a good rider (which nobody is denying but ur basing ur entire premise on) he should forever merit 'THE MOST COVETED SEAT in MotoGP. Listen, he has had a good run, but he hasnt put it all together for one season! U can bang all u want on Hayden's win total, but at very least, for one entire season he kept his composure when it counted. Pedro had a very similar opportunity last year! Yes, after Stoner injured himself AND the RCV became the undisputed perfect machine, he was again IN THE BEST POSITION to win a title. This after Baustista gave Pedro a 25 point gift. What happened? Pedro RETURNS TO SENDER at PI. Thats not counting his own screw up after a no-fault tire warming incident. This is where COMPOSURE comes in. He screwed up, because he started from the back he got desperate and in a hasty moment stormed the field and crashed!

U nor i are in a position to be perfect during such hi intensity high pressure moments, but champion are and do. That is why we admire them and receive so much accolade. Pedro won more races last year than Lorenzo, yet who has the trophy?

U also are a bit like Alberto Puig, trying to expand the scope in a feeble attempt at traction. We, or I am not saying he should have been replaced all 8 years. Im saying about 2-3 years ago it was time to give another talented a shot. I realize its hard for u to see the alternative, but much of Pedros's record IS BECAUSE he has been at HRC. Allow me to make a comparison. I think, but not sure, u are a Stoner fan (given u have decided to live vicariously through Marc). Do u think Stoners record of race wins might have been more on a Worx RCV the last 8 years?

I agree, Dani is a very good rider, but let me make another comparison. Since we have been talking about Cal, look at how much improved he has become. This is what happens with careers sometimes, they ebb and flow. Dani has had it all his way and that ultimate flow has never appeared. I know it would break ur heart, but it time for him to be moved aside and let somebody have a go. (Btw, if Nicky gets beat by years end by Dovi, its also time for him to look elsewhere. Not everybody gets to be promoted to a factory Yamaha u know).
