Congratulations to Capirossi and Ducati.
No one could get close today and he behaved like Rossi in the old days with Honda. Totally controlling it from lap one with a lead that was up to 8 sec.
Fantastic fight between Pedrosa an Rossi. My hat off to Pedrosa who fight like a hardened oldtimer.
Something was wrong with Rossi's race pace and I guess it was his hard rear that gave him problems. Only on the last two laps he could ease away from Pedrosa and gain on Capirossi, who probably took it very easy the last couple of laps.
Hayden on 9th! that was the big bomb today. Only 25/38 points now.
Probably the best result we could see for the championship. Especially as no one crashed, just a bad day for Hayden. His second bad day theis year.

What a fight for second place! Dani gave his all, but..well..It's the doctor you're up to...

CONGRATULATIONS TO CASEY!!! --- he finished the race!

Congratulations to Loris's, he was untouchable.

That was the best race of the season for me.

It was great to see Pedrosa take it to Rossi.

Hopefully Sete is back next race and the two Ducati's take first and second in the upcoming races, I would love to see that.

Stormin race pace and an excellent win for Capper after fighting back to full fitness, who knows where he would be at in the championship if it were not for that accident in Barcelona.

Excellent fight between Rossi & Dani, must have been about 5 passing manoveres.

KRJ after dropping off to 8th great fightback to claim 4th.

Nicky I guess this is his worse result.

Capirex and I must have been prophetic! We hoped for a good result for Rossi and Loris, and said that it's about time Hayden experience some bad luck himself. Didn't know it'd come true!

Best circuit in the world, loris on fire, rossi and pedrosa on entertaining form, nicky...sorry, not good enough, kenny starting to race a little, great day!

Caparex was amazing and I do believe now he will challenge for the title. Dani and Vale put on a great battle with Rossi eventually taking advantage of Pedrosa mistake to pull away. Nicky down in 9th is good as it makes the title battle closer and more exciting, bring on Sepang.

Hayden's bike was not in good conditions... he was mighty pissed off when he got back to the box, looking at the rear... dunno, he didn't want to talk after the race. It was sad to see him taken over by just about anyone!

Capirossi was a fiend! Pedrosa way too aggressive and at times dangerous!!

not a good race for a hayden fan, but still...!

Congrats Caparossi!! Smashed it!! Rossi good race! not the win but sure it was sweet with hayden 9th and pedrosa 3rd. Now rossi is 3rd and any top 5 can take it!

Pedrosa was a wild cat, first he nearly took out hayden then rossi... Least Rossi showed him a few things.

Hope Caparossi stays in this form! Valencia Valencia Valencia

CAPA loves Sepang too!

yeah was a wicked race!! no one could touch capi today!!

dani's said all season that he wanted to race with rossi.. well today he got his chance! i thought it was a nice little dog-fight they had. shame he couldnt stay with him till the end but i think rossi just showed that little bit more today. bodes well for future contests between them though!!

hayden?? what happened there then?? makes the championship interesting!!

Dani's overtaking was fine. Rossi cut in front of him, and if there's any blame to be laid, its on Rossi in my opinion.
I feel sorry for Hayden, and I hope he comes back to full form in Sepang. I really want him to take the title.

Why are you so anti rossi ?
Pedrosa had his ... slapped for messing with rossi and that was for the second time this season.
Why does Hayden deserve to take the title?

THAT is called "racing" according to some definitions........

I assume you talk about that little incident where Pedrosa almost took out both himself and Rossi?
I have my own opinion, but let the most winning road racer in my country do the talking: "If there is anyone to blame at all, it is Pedrosa. Those half harted attempts are never good and often cause dangerous situations." "Agreed 100%" said the second comentator, and anoter ex road racer.

That's realy all there is to say about that little situation.

My opinion is that when Hayden have a bad day, nothing really wrong (some clutch problems and a bad tire choise) things just doesn't wotk perfectly, he end up ninth. Rossi have a bad day, with wrong tire choise and engine temperature problems (you know what high temperature does to power?) and he end up second. That's IMO the difference between those two.

I think Rossi was holding Pedrosa up. Dani dose need to work on his passing, but he is learning along with Stoner.

A great race, and Loris has shone us that he can ride a prefect race!

If his 3 pases wasn't enough then nothing is. It is easier to hang and he did so pretty well. Pedroasa proved 3. times that he had nothing to do in 2nd spot and should stay in 3rd as he finally did. In the final laps he was clarly slower when Rossi dropped his laptimes down to 1:58's

No, you can't 'hold' someone up when there in front of you. As Dani was about 3-4 times.

You have to factor Capper out of the race seeing how he was on another level. It came down to Rossi have the race pace. Dani was able to keep up and even pass when Rossi wasn't riding 100%. But when it mattered Rossi effortlessly pulled ahead. As he always does when he has to.

ditto. No one's at fault there. Not Dani, and certainly not Vale. It was just a great form of entertainment for us fans.

Imagine, Dani taking up the challenge to smash the 7-time world champion without any fear whatsoever, but then, Vale was as determined and as stubborn as he is to let him pass.

For me I think it's just that...a fantastic showing from the two!

i agree with you jane. i think today has given us a taste of things to come from vale and dani. is anyone saying that they dont want to see those two fight it out more often? as writer said its a great form of entertainment. thats why we watch racing right, to see battles on the track like that and to see riders over taking then fighting back to regain the position?
