Hi guys and gals,

I'm after some advice from anyone who has been to the Brno circut as I'm hoping to book a trip there for the GP.

I have read on many websites about a camp site called camp Tranzit, the 10,000 capasity field next to the circuit, however we are looking at going for a week (the race is on the 19th August which is my 19th birthday - we're hoping to make a bit of a holiday out of it!) so we were hoping for somewhere much nicer to stay as we're there for a while.

I've been looking at another local campsite called camp Radka, a bus ride away from the circuit, but I cant seem to find a way of booking it, the phone numbers on their website we can't connect to and i've not recieved any responce to my e-mails.

I keep coming across this website.... http://www.brnograndprix.com/ ...which is no use at all as its all a year out of date, and the phone number keeps ringing and ringing with no answer...

So my question is this - has anybody been in recent years, or has anybody already booked a site there for this year that could give me any advice? The closer to the corcuit the better but from what I gather there are regular busses from Brno centre to the track so if we have to stay more central its not too much of a problem.

Cheers in advance,

Ben

never been Brno, and it's one of those tracks where I dont think we have any members that have.

I can tell you that the site you mentioned belongs to one of our sponsors, http://www.polepositiontravel.com/ and that they are live an kicking!

Good luck

Im going for a week this year as part of a family of four - i will find the company out later for you because i dont actually know which one it is (my dad booked it you see)

BUT i do know thats the company we are going with is an official partner of dorna and you can pretty much make up what you want to do which is ace.

i hope i can be of more help later on when i find out what you want to know, im pretty clueless at the moment

just hope I don't end up in the field rather than a campsite

lol

ok it was poleposition that we booked with. it sounds ace as the trip is flexible and you can decide what you want to do yourself
<

hope you have a good time, whoever you book with

Had an e-mail back today saying there are still spaces left at the site we want so hopefully I can book it tomorow!
