That would fall into the new rule that was introduced after Rossi sullied the sport last year. Now if you speak out, you are in danger of penalties for making comments that are "irresponsible and hence damaging to the sport". That means Lorenzo's criticism of the tires is about all you are going to hear from riders on the subject. I would bet he has already got the call saying thats it, no more.
I wasn't going to say it, but yes my thought as well.
Redding and co were fairly vocal about the problems with the "dry soft" Michelin though. However, even Dorna I guess would be chary of fining a rider for complaining about a near-death experience as a result of a tyre explosion.
