In FP2 he was only 0.457 off Pedrosa. Haven't looked it up, but that may well be the closest he's had that Ducati to the top in any dry session this year.

Well in Rossi's defense, this may be the event he gets his best dry race result.
(No Casey, Nicky, or Hector...oh wait, but now he has to worry about CRandy DepunieT.)

This will probably be Dani's last real chance at a championship. He is riding strong, and Casey's gone. But Lorenzo is gonna be a hard nut to crack. Starting from this weekend, we are gonna see what Dani is made of. Personally, I think the guy is very talented and fast, but doesn't have that bit extra to take the title. However, I really hope the little guy proves me wrong....

spain has a lot of good riders, and the national 125, moto2 championships. in other countries teenagers race production bikes. its normal to have more spanish riders in gp. for example look how many brits race in wsbk, due to bsb.
