Best race of the year........

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (baldylocks @ Oct 29 2006, 10:30 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>i don't mind that hayden won - i'm pleased for him but the race was hardly a thriller was it ?

once rossi was out there wasn't exactly drama was there ?

if you disagree then you must have been watching a different race to me ?
no i don't disagree. but bein a fan of rossi i know that the wind went out of your sails when that happened. outa mine to for that matter. without him there tryin to fight up to the front & the scrap i was hoping for, the race was diminished. still enjoyed tho! finally a new champion!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I CANT BELIEVE I MISS THIS RACE

I think i am going to cry

HAYDEN WELL DONE!!!! YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY

I lost today 3-1, to make things worse I was locked out of my house for an hour and I had to wait for my parents

It certainly wasn't the best race I've seen, the guy who made me eat my words today was Bayliss, I've always dismissed him as a superbike rider, not a GP rider. Today him and Capirossi made the rest look second hand, no one else was setting the race on fire really.

Bayliss winning the race and Hayden the championship? Never thought I'd see the day!

Pete

I´ll be honest, when it was translated to me in the stands that Rossi had gone down, I cheered for Hayden and then spent the next 40 minutes on the edge of my seat hoping he would keep it on two and also hoping that Bayliss would hold off Capirossi. I thought it was well exciting.

Just for the record, cheering for Hayden´s title, not Rossi falling off.

it was a rubbish race after rossi crashed becuase there was no overtaking or anything. The only thing interesting about this race was seeing ryders crash hoping for rossi to get the 5 points. I know its bad. best race has to be either mugello or sachenring

Same here! I suppose it depends on who your support. If your a Rossi fan then the race would seem crap but when ever hayden bobbled on the bike, I nearly wet myself.

P.S. Did anyone notice how weak the crowd response was? even with the 130,000 plus there was nothing. They were all probably there for Rossi anyway. Oh and did anyone notice the yellow fire works?

yes, i think everyone expected rossi to win

Erm sorry, I should have changed the title of the topic. If you see the forum was made around 8, what I was ment to say was that it 'COULD be the best race of season and I was going to miss it' sorry for the miss understanding

The fans in my section were going bananas everytime Rossi came by even after he crashed. And those fireworks happened to be right in front of me.
