Bautista to wildcard at Sepang

Bautista deserves a wild card, but it's going to be tough. He accustomed to front running, but he's going to be back in the midpack melee getting mugged by a bunch of guys who are trying to save their GP careers.
Best case for him is that the silly season is settled, and everyone is just riding around and trying to avoid injury. That could be a fun wildcard appearance.

Bayliss Valencia 06?! Haha.
After the last year and a half Bautista is 1.30m of pure confidence. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a Top 5.

A well deserved bonus. I'll guess he will be ahead of testers and injury fill-ins plus some regulars to scrape into the points, we shall see. Being up the pointy end would be a pleasant surprise but not impossible.
Possibly suggests that Ducati doesn't need all of its testing allocation but they may have Bautista using this race for some sort of development feedback
