Agree with most of this, it was a racing incident, but you can't have racing incidents every race, something called judgement which Simoncelli appears to completely lack comes into it.
After every crash this year, his fans say "He's young, but fast. He'll grow out of it. He'll learn."
But he doesn't learn. He seems clinically incapable.
He says he has, and he always promises to do better in the future, but I don't think even he believes it. He strikes me as one of those people who completely lack the ability for introspective thought.
Even the usually PC Eurosport guys were making cracks about Sic being "Not the sharpest tool in the shed."
To make things even worse, he doesn't seem particularly sorry for anything either. His 'apology' to Pedrosa was straight out of the PR flack's mouth, and struck me as utterly insincere.
If I were Fausto or a bigwig at HRC, I'd suspend his contract here and now. Enough is enough.
I will count this as a net 14 point gain for stoner as jorge may have beaten him in this race.
I know it's Apples vs. Oranges to some degree, but if you look at the lap times, J-Lo was a little slower than Casey but faster than Dovi. If Sasquatch's aim was less accurate, I think Lorenzo probably would have finished 3rd, cutting the points bleed to 4.
