Were are on the same page Jumkie. I would say my only quibble is that every racer talks about how totally unpredictable the BS are when they are cold. That you have absolutely zero warning before they snap and how this is totally unlike any other situation they face concerning knowing or not knowing where the limit is.

That being the case can we really cast praise or blame on any rider who crashes under these circumstances? One could say that Lorenzo didn't know where the limit was any better or worse than Simoncelli did and that Lorenzo just got lucky.

Given each individual's recent history (and the fact that nobody else crashed in that turn) I would generally agree and say that Lorenzo somehow found the limit and avoided it whereas Simoncelli did not.

But I'll leave that for others to decide.

Lorenzo got in a little hot and pushed the front a little, went wide gathered it in. Sic lost the rear under acceleration. Its a hell of a lot easier to catch one when you go in a tad hot, than when you lose total traction from the rear at lean. What Lorenzo did was way less risky than what Sic tried, you really cant compare the two.

The 125 and moto2 races were very nice and more exciting than the motogp, but a few things made the race ok for me, the first because i was there, the second was the first win by Spies with a big gap and beating his team mate for the first time even if Lorenzo were put out of the fight. The third thing was Lorenzo's damage limitation by coming from that far and finishing on 6th. Simoncelli was a fool and ... again, he should better start the race from behind or the 3th row, that way at least he wont ruin the show, but i was glad he did it to Lorenzo who started all this Simonclli is aggressive for his own fault and put all the pressure on his schulder which finally came back to bite himself where it hurts. The gaps between the riders made the race like a free practice session. Stoner didn't want to throw the points away, after he saw what happend to Lorenzo, that's why he didn't push any more to catch up Spies.
