Gracias. I'll have more tomorrow. Weatherman says blue skies. It's been breezy today so all the morning clouds were blown away. It's a shame this is only a stand by track. I is really well put together, and they threw up the bleachers and grandstands in a couple months. It could use a little shade, but as you can see in the backgrounds of the pictures there is not much around anywhere!

Here is one with lot's of things to look at. It's 125 qualifying

Bat, have you been to other GPs in Spain? If so, how does the attendance compare? It really looks stunning, both the track and the surrounding area. What about the all important night life? Do they have a downtown scene where the GP fans gather to party?

CK, the thing is VR qualed 7th and out pop the threads questioning Rossi's mojo, his age, his motivation, the quality of his Bstone tires, the suspect tunning of his M1 ect. etc. That... before the race even has happened.

I'm just saying lets not start writing Vales obituary just yet, that's all.

Expecting Stoner vs Lorenzo tomorrow! Never saw them battle each other so far.

Lorenzo is smarter than that, don't expect him to get into any unnecessary shenanigans until the title is all good and wrapped up. And before anybody starts questioning Lorenzo's heart, les we forget all the title contenders have raced conservatively and done enough when the title was on the line (Spies, Hayden, Stoner, Rossi). If there is gonna be a "battle" I'd expect it from Stoner vs Pedrosa vs VR, and I'm hoping to see Nicky and Spies in it to.

I think Rossi came back early from his leg injury with a strong idea to get fit quickly and make Lorenzo's life difficult. Or at least try. Shoulder or not. Tires or not.

But seeing that there was a potential for unnecessary (from yamaha's point of view) trouble, Furusawa told Vale: "We are friends, but if you unduly mess with our top rider this season, I guarantee you that you'll test your new Ducati only in February 2011. Serious!"

So now the shoulder injury could be Vale's convenient excuse to justify to his fans not so much why he can't beat Lorenzo (that would be forgiven to him anyway, in his condition), but why he's not even trying. And that's more difficult for the fans to accept.

Of course this is all pure speculation, and I hope it's wrong!

Hoping we may have something different this weekend, but now I doubt it. Stoners pace was 'Banzai' again, 324kph on the straight 6-7kph more than both Fiats. Dani 326kph, interestingly Nicky could only manage 319kph-Aero's playing a part here, one of the larger top speed differentials for the year.

Jorge and Dani will walk away again, Rossi may get up to have a go at Stoner, but even that isn't likely.......

Top speed has been debunked over and over. U know that 93 GP u just saw, pretty awesome eh! Guess who had a the slower bike?

Rossi showed how u can beat the pace setter at Laguna 08. So im not counting out anybody. The only problem i see is Lorenzo doesnt need to win like Rossi did when he screwed with Stoners rhythm. I think thats why Pedro has won the last two, its more a matter of circumstance.

Yeah it was great stuff, seeing Kevin make up that ground in the last two laps just reminded me how good all those guys were, Rainy fantastic-even Daryl- Honda was quick though. Would be great if they could bring Suzuka back to standards, I love the track . Having the modern graphics and commentary on Motogp.com is funny though, Gavin Emmett would have been all of 15 then!

Trying to remain optimistic about todays race, you're right we never know. I'm trying to think how long its been since we've seen someone come through the field to win like Rainy did, was it possibly Rossi at Assen 2007?

Pot.....Kettle......

Track looks great, as do facilities. Did Spies really only do 3 laps??? If so what a tremendous back fire for Dorna with all there backpedaling and promotion of the new practice time.

Ok, show of hands, who here besides Talpa, didnt know that i was referring to myself when i said a certain redneck would be happy if Nicky were to somehow win a race.

No confusion here! You're the acknowledged Redneck King of Powerslide!

What's more, you have enough self awareness and humor to be happy referring to yourself as such!

Off to the races. It's a chilly star studded night/morning. Weather will not be an excuse today.

Hasta luego
