Pot.....Kettle......

Track looks great, as do facilities. Did Spies really only do 3 laps??? If so what a tremendous back fire for Dorna with all there backpedaling and promotion of the new practice time.

I was more thinking that it may be a symptom of what we could be lead to believe is a changed Honda. Perhaps it is a more fiery beast this year?

I doubt it means anything, why risk tossing the bike down the road, and possibly getting hurt in a meaningless session.

Interesting, for what it's worth.... Stoner who was fastest in the morning session, was the only alien who didn't pre-test on a street bike at Aaragon.

some speeds shown in last few mins 331kph stoner - Rossi 306kph

Yamahas in general appear to be down on top speed at this track. Lorenzo stated plainly they are down on power

as compared to the Hondas and the Ducatis. During his interview Stoner said he'd not done as well as hoped because

his riding wasn't up to the level of Lorenzo and Pedrosa. No complaining about the bike or the team or the tires. Looks

like he's taken to heart all the whining about his whining.

It seems that qualifying is where all the excitement is in MotoGP these days. I almost prefer watching it to the races. They may not be racing on the track but then they don't seem to in the race either but the race on the stopwatch is really good.

I think that Dani is riding as good as I have ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if the run through to the end of the season is dominated by him and Lorenzo may feel a bit of pressure. Nice to see Stoner riding hard. He is bloody exciting to watch when he is on it which hasn't been too much of late.

At a loss with Rossi. I am not buying the shoulder talk although there is no doubt that it is causing him some issues but I find it hard to believe that it is causing more than a second a lap in issues.

BREAKING NEWS via @tobymoody : Davide Brivio leaving Yamaha to be Rossi's personal manager and follow him at Ducati

????

Rossi gets a lot of criticism for riding his dirt bike for training which I don't have a problem with. I just want to know what he was thinking when he was trying to jump over a shark tank.

Rossi`s taken his foot off the pedal now,and why not? It would be churlish of him to throw himself up the road when he knows the title is gone and a shitload of Ducati stuff to get his head around over the break after Valencia.Oh,and he has a shoulder op scheduled too. What would be the point of starting 2011 on a backward step as regarding fitness and mental psyche?

You've never had a shoulder injury, have you? I've had both shoulders separated on different incidents. I can tell you, I could not even wipe my ..., no BS, let alone get on a bike and race at top level.

So then, what are you buying? The detuned M1? I bet he will finish higher than his qual order.

BTW, that really "detuned M1" (unless its not longer a Tech3) is working great for Spies.

About Pedrosa, really, does it matter to him where he quals? He routinely gets the hole shot from the third row. Hes smart enough to know that pole is not necessary so hes not gonna risk throwing it away on a meaningless pole position. If they ever give a point for pole, then maybe it will become more important.

and Nicky, good consistent practice and qual this weekend. I'm not getting my hopes up...I think.

Disagree Drill. Its not in his DNA. Hes a competitor at heart, he's got a point to prove. He wouldn't have come back from leg injury if he wanted to phone it in buddy.

And here are just a couple of the randoms in the crowd. I have no idea who they are, but shows the spectrum of a GP fan in Spain. A big part of the reason there will be 4 races here!

Sorry, no where close to the race queens!

Alcaniz in the background. It is a real beautiful town with a lot of racing history.
