Well it looks like we will have another boring year in the Superbike class. Unless something dramatically happens, it will be Mladin's title to lose. (Yes, I know its early, but its between Spies and Mladin, realistically, and Spies' crash didn't help any. Can Mladin be any more arrogant in his interviews? .....

Mladin wins both races. Congrats, I guess.

Oh, is it me, or did Tommy Hayden look good this weekend?

The only good thing about the AMA is the Supersport class:

What a great race that was. Even though the last two races involved only Ben Bostrom & Josh Herin, it was waaaay more exciting. Damn lap riders got in the way of Ben. Oh well, good to Herin for being ther to snatch the win. He seems like a nice kid with no arrogance to speak of, that kid is the real deal. There goes Ben's perfect season. (haha)

Oh, BTW, Gregg White is a Neaderthal, and the ..... that hired him to co up to the booth. Can Speed get any more stupid? Please send this guy to English school.

I'm bumped about Roger Lee Hayden. Ther goes his defense of the title.

Supersport race proved again to be the best race on the schedule. Herrin needs is the next American racing talent. I think Yamaha has found a replacement for Rossi when he decides to stop racing. And Herrin is a huge Rossi fan, taking the number and other bits from Rossi. Yet, as Jumkie said, he does not have the arrogance, that Rossi does bring.

Jumkie, I saw the bit they had on Speed about the Rog Hayden fall, but other than that, what really happened? I saw his already on the ground.

well at least we got some half decent coverage from the spuud chanel. superbike... what a predictable snooze. but we all knew what we were gonna get & will get for the remainder of the season baring some unforseen mishap of course. the supersport race was excellent. herrin & bostrom really put on a show just ashame hayden wasn't there. josh herrin is a real talent & yamaha need to hold on to him tightly & i expect we'll see him in gp's soon enough.

won't get to see the superstock race or fx till tuesday as usual.

I'm not sure exaxtly what happened but Speed said the fall was caused by the privateer.
Rog and that superbike have a hate/ hate relationship.
She spits him quite often and always seems to leave him with some pretty bad injuries.
I read his digit was ground down and he might need to lose it. I was a little worried when they said his back and pelvis were hurt but it's not too serious so that's good news.

As far as the Superbike race is concerned I'm quite fed up with the results.
I Tivo'd both races and ended up fowarding through both of them. While I don't exaxtly agree with the new changes being proposed it's clear that the premiere class is .... and change is necessary.

So much for all the .... talking from Hodgson in the offseason. He claims to be at Mladins level
but I didn't see Mat run wide at Daytona and Barber.

Jumkie your right about Mladin's post race interview.
Is he the only one who believes that the racing is good because he always tells us what a great race it was. His comments about changing to 600's next year were so arrogant. He claims the results would be the same if Yosh Suzuki were involved. I'd love to see that. That Suzuki 600 has barely seen a podium in years.

Quite a shame that Roger was out of the Supersport race. As josh Hayes showed last year a DNF in that class will lose you a championship. I'm curious to see if the Kawi can keep up with the Yams this year. BTW what happened to Josh Hayes. Was he injured or was he just off the pace this weekend.
He did a good job to salvage points but he wasn't competitive with the leaders. Nice job Blake Young beating Rapp to the line. If he keeps this up I think he might be a good replacement for Spies next year.
Once again I love watching Josh Herrin. He is totally unafraid to make a risky pass. You know he's not going to settle so he keeps you on the edge of your seat while watching. I keep waiting for him to crash out being so aggressive but he's able to keep it rubber up so far.
How about him giving love to the lapper that slowed Bostrom down. I was laughing my ... off.
I'm thinking Bostrom lost because he was racing at 4:20 on 4/20 and was unable to partake in the ritual.

I was hoping Speed would drop Greg White altogether but instead they put him in the booth.
I don't need him asking Freddie Spencer about why or how something works and listing to a tutorial instead of commentary. I really don't need him to use the word MOTORCYCLE 3 times in each sentence. I don't need to hear the phrase " a bobble " any more. and stop cutting Freddie off while he is talking to utter this phrase " Blake Young riding a Suzuki motorcycle , OH MY GOD He had a bobble there on that M4 EMGO Suzuki motorcycle, let's see which motorcycle gets the best drive out of this you know corner. Freddie why do motorcycles bobble?"

Christ! We have been robbed of a great talent this year, lets hope he beats the odds and returns to racing!

Now forgive me for being late on this, but when Checa made a remarkably similar comment your reaction was this:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>His words were basically an admission of being a piece of .... who's disregard for fellow rider’s safety and right to compete in a field of professionals was of NO concern to him.

You have gone on in more than one topic to detail how the riders with this attitude and disregard for other riders safetey fall short as human biengs and should not be allowed on the track. I am surprised to hear your support of a rider who fits so well in this catagory.

You're reaching Tom.
Your argument is ....... stupid.
Herrin has never taken anyone out but because he had an Oh .... moment and was honest about it you're going to put him into the same category as those who continually ride with no regard for others?

I don't actually have a problem wih Herrin, he seem alright to me. But Jumkie has made it clear that riders who say these things and take these risks have human deficiencies and should not be allowed on race circuits. I know he hasn't hurt anyone yet but if his atttitude and disregard for safetey is encouraged and applauded, then innocent riders will end up getting hurt by the irresponsible. Its all in Jumkies posts in the Checa thread.

Sorry, I've only just got round to watching this.

I was disappointed not to see Matt Lynn on the MV this year.

Perfect season down the pan or not, It's great to see B Boz believing in himself again. Josh Herrin -respect

It's .... what's happened to Roger Lee, do you think they'll plug the ride with Chaz? It's rumoured here accross the pond that he might be in line for the GP Wild Card rides which were destined for Rog, (I don't mean RogerM)

Sorry, one more question for Jumkie, or anyone that knows. Where did Brian Drebber go? thinking about it I don't remember him at Speed last season.

Greg White or not, at least you don't have to endure Jack Burnicle in your National Series

My understanding is that if RLH is fit the ride is his as planned. If not then Chaz is first in line but Kawasaki and Monster will have the option to pull the funds and not run a wildcard at all.
