AMA Rd 2 CALI SPEEDWAY (Fontana)

Just finally finished watching all 4 races. It certainly looks like we are going to see a lot of great racing this year. The problem I see is that Speed has let Greg White off his leash and he is completely ruining it for me. I have to watch on mute it is so aggravating.
He is stuck on the word motorcycle. He uses it over and over and over again. Check Cardenas crash in race 2. He uses it 3 times in one sentence.
He constantly refers to riders as the 8 bike or the 39. This is not Nascar.
He is constantly manufacturing drama so he can scream about a great drive out of a corner or oooooohh
he's backing it in.
Most people who watch racing know what's going on so why does he always dumb it down and give us a tutorials on simple .........
He reminds me of Joe Buck the football/ baseball announcer. They both want to give you constant information about every facet of the game. Sometimes you have to shut up and let the racing tell the story

I feel your pain man. When I saw that Pridmore had taken over for Greg White I was pretty excited, could the ....... Greg White finally be gone? Nope, not the case, as it appears that the almost as annoying Shaheen has been removed. You got it right with the manufacturing drama, he takes it way too far and way too often. One good thing to note is the addition of Pridmore. The guy is mellow, easy to listen to, and with his racing background can talk intelligently about what is going on. The one time Pridmore was in the booth last year (New Jersey, maybe VIR?) it was a major improvement, at least he is a move in the right direction.
