Calm down mate. The stirring was fairly gentle and not personal. Frosty had already commented on it more appropriately with his "fishing" gif.

Relax, have a beer, chill.

My ideology and my practice concerning obesity coincided more closely when I was younger. 60 or 65 kg does not constitute obesity for most adult men, whereas 50 or 55kg probably is a health risk for many in some respects. Starved rats do live longer experimentally though.

And ..... leathers are pretty tight ...... there would need to be some rule as to how offensive the "larger" rider looked ...... like when all the fat cops around here were wearing lycra on their bicycles

Just how "normal" a sized guy are you anyway?

Not for athletes in a fairly specific field.

Like you never see 60kg hammer throwers ..... well should the hammers be lighter?

Or 80kg Marathon runners ....... should the marathon be shortened?

Archers or Target shooters with MS ........ the target made bigger ?

Swimmers with low body fat index .......

etc. etc. etc.

Sure you have a point, and I have acknowleged this point on this topic previously. But I don't think rules that more or less specifically encourage people to be as light as possible are a good idea. They have a minimum weight in 125s don't they? I think if they don't have a minimum weight they shouldn't have a fuel restriction.

If I didn't follow motogp I'd say your fishing Curve, except in all honesty I agree with you. I use to get so pumped up to watch a race. Look forward, and count the days. Now I could almost careless.
<

Actually, why can't they have a small screen following the leader once he gets a good lead, and show more of the battles taking place back in the pack in the main screen? How hard is that? The last race would have been a hell more entertaining!!!

I say run 1000cc two strokes with carbs, and trash fuel injection. I like to see a f1 guy ride one
<

I'll take all your Hayden .... if you have any. I wanna see some picks of it first though and do you ship to Cali, USA

Oh, does "FOR SALE" mean that you are selling out?
<

I am really enjoying the WSBK at the moment as well. I have always stated that the MOTOGP formula is no good. One race every 2-3 weeks and the average fan lose interest. I would also like to venture and say that the average fan is where a majority of the revenue comes from?? As far as the 800cc vs 990cc I haven't made my mind up yet.

You wouldn't of happened to be tossed when you wrote this post??

How many fat Moto racers have you seen?
<
well outside of club days etc. ..... I'd say its more important with motogp for the exact same reasons it is to get things right or "righter" with those other sports. ....... all motogp riders are aware of their weight ..... but I would also suggest that to have got so far in Moto racing then one does tend to be on the "lighter" side
<

Didn't Stoner comment once that he was so glad when he went to 250's because he could stop dieting .... so yeah as the bikes get bigger the size of the rider tends to increase ...... however ... it has never been a "normal" mans sport
<

Lets go back to what normal is ...... in shirts do you wear a men's "M" .. thats a worldwide normal

not the mid range of XF'nLLLLLLL

PS: i'm not realy gonna sell my ....

i agree with curve motogp these days sucks compared to how it used to be and it has nothing to do with the rider's and who my fave is, even the misses has gone off it, i still watch and break something close to me when someone does a hard pass but thats about it, there is not enough riders either.
fuel limits , tyre limits , reduction in capacity , less riders , to much electronics to assist the rider , when it comes to the bike and data there is about the same amount as nasa have when they launch the space shuttle and alot of that is automated, same goes for motogp and helping a bike stay on the track in the corners.
it wont be long before the creators and owners of motogp realise themselves that they have just put to many rules into a sport when there was no need too.
the amount of followers will fall and not rise, people complaining how boring it is and in the end they will realise that something has to change to make bike racing how it should be.....

go and look back a few season watch some races see how many passes there are compared to today, riders used to be way more agressive when battling for the next possition.
motogp is still good but the in race excitment is just going down hill.

and barry before you decide to answer with one of your stupid posts im telling you to piss off in advance.

don't be a twit..you know what i mean by normal... Colin, Rossi, Nick, Hopper...not mutants like Pedrosa or lite weight children like some of the riders now....

when we had 500s, and 990s...rider size didn't matter all that much, cause ALL the bikes had more HP than they could handle...it separated the men from the boys.....Now with all the bikes where they are, HP is lacking...it's a disadvantage when you're 2 feet taller and 40 pounds heavier than the other guy.....

Curve, I know what you mean. I empathize! Yes, WSBK is very exciting (and has been for some years now). I suppose we can discuss it at length as a valid topic; nonetheless, what I think doesn’t work for some people (as when Noodles did) is perhaps the way you posed the topic. (Not to worry though, those that have been around here understand your “special” kind of wittiness that requires some skin.)

Anyway, I love MotoGP as much as my penis, which sometimes makes very very bad decisions—however, I can NOT cut myself off from neither of the two simply because I’m sometimes unhappy after a particular episode.

Hang in there man. We got 15 rounds left. Plenty of time for fireworks.

(skid, please excuse me if its a dumb question but, what does "q.e.d." mean?)
