2024 - Valencia Pre Season Test

How many championships do you think Pecco would have if he was Fabio's teammate on Yamaha instead of ducati?
I think FQ is very likely better. But he had every chance to win the 2022 title and didn't, Bagnaia did. And the Ducati was likely good enough for years, Gigi certainly thought so, but Bagnaia was the one who actually managed to win a title on it.

I just hope KTM can make another step for next year. They are the only ones, maybe Aprilia as well, who can challenge Ducati. It's going to take a while for Honda and Yamaha to catch up.

I think his new race engineer responding this way is ominous. I was thinking, if Marc is smart he'll just keep himself out of the top spot on the timesheets at the next tests. What better way than to go into Qatar next March and just pulling the pin on everyone? Avoids any Dorna preseason machinations.
Wonder what tires those are. Not slicks obviously. They look like ordinary street tires - but wouldn't be, obviously. I guess Michelin want to keep possession of any slicks used or otherwise, when they're not being used in racing or testing.'

Aprilia can make an easy step forward in 2025 by getting 2 new riders.
We were all thinking it. Somebody had to say it.

I said it some years ago about Jack and I'll say it here and now about Brad. He'll never win a championship. Now I'll get into my flame resistant suit and take the heat.

Based on rider reactions and times, it doesn’t look like Yamaha have really stepped up to give Fabio a contending bike. I guess we’ll see after the next test. But you bring your biggest guns out to start, so I am not holding my breath.

I'm a Brad fan, and I won't aggressively argue against your statement. He/KTM certainly need to get more consistency for sure.

This year it was impossible for someone to win the championship not riding on a Ducati. Brad has proven himself being the best rider not on a Ducati.

The one day test shows that M Marquez will adapt to the Ducati quickly, only injury will keep him off the podium

Agree, the KTM only seemed to work on particular circuits, and Brad had to over ride it even on those circuits. Hence my other recent post, I consider MM on a 1 year old Ducati more chance than Brad on a KTM next season unless KTM significantly improve the bike, and not just because he is MM. I am sure unfortunately for me that KTM can do better than Jack, but not so sure about replacing Binder who might well be more consistent and crash less on a better more consistently competitive bike.

If you're saying KTM needs to be more consistent, I can agree with you to some extent. However, if you are questioning BB's consistency, I think you've been following a different championship than me 😄
