Ok now the test is over, I can focus on the tech side:

Apparently the only changes on the GP24 are to the engine.

Honda brought a new bike and gave it to Marini right away, rather than having his get used to the old bike.

I believe Zarco got the humbling he needed a while ago. Back then in the KTM days he was a hot prospect and he probably expected to fight for the championship one day. I think he knows the dream is over and he's just choosing to stick around regardless of performance.
Exactly what I was trying to say. He wanted the 2 year contract for job security as he knows his time in MotoGP is short. He won't walk away from this.

1 of 2 crashes for Martin today. This was on the 2024 bike.

Martín didn't seem very impressed with the GP24 in front of the Spanish coverage's cameras, that he'll need to understand the changes. Pecco says he was very 'eppy, that the weak points of the GP23 were some stuff related to braking and they seem to have improved on that front. Bestia says the bike turns better and was happy with it, in addition to what he said about Marc in @gui22a's post

Not bad from Luca. Already faster than Mir.

Hopefully the beast finds his form on the gp24. I still have hope that he can be better than his teammate.

I'm reading comments from Gazzetta.it and I've been having a lot of laughs, the Italians are actually .... scared of Marc after today's testing, saying he doesn't deserve to be on the Ducati and that he should've gone to Yamaha "for the challenge" haha.

If Marc does wipe the floor with the field, Ducati will have received the reward they earned, when they, imo, conned the paddock into adopting ride height and aero to pit man against machine.

If Marc takes the WC it means Ducati didn’t defeat Marquez. They crippled him with the rulebook, and then dunked on him for several years.

I still predict wins with no WC, but it looks like Marc has his sights set higher….

He can use the GP23 instead, if he finds it to be better for his riding style. At least he would be in equal terms with MM93.

It will depend on the number of Marc's crashes as he is all in or nothing.

Anyone got the video of Mark knocking whinney bezz off. Sick of reading how dirty marques is. How far up the yellow man's ... is this guy

You called it MB!

Everyone seems to think MM is the defacto 2024 champion. We shall see...
Actually, I don't recall anyone predicting that. What with Pecco and Jorge being young, free of major injury and very talented to boot, it's safe to say, there will be some good three-way battles in store for next year. And keeping in mind that the KTMs are creeping up in competitiveness every season, paired with the way aero issues continue to make passing much more demanding - it should be (at least regarding those riders consistently in the top 5) even less predictable. Acosta as a dark horse, may make it even moreso. But, no. I don't think anyone seriously believes its going to be a cake-walk for Marquez, but it's safe to say, he'll do a .... of a lot better not riding the Honda. Anyone who seriously doubts that . . . put yer money where your mouth is. I'm taking all bets!
