When you have a golden goose its not a bad idea. I've said before that ducati is ducatis worst enemy. They take points away points from Pecco nearly every weekend. If they didn't have 600 good bikes on the grid the championship would be pretty much wrapped up. As for Honda, they don't need to replace Marc they need Mir to be that person. I don't think to highly of him but he is a world champion.
He is a world champion with 1 race win....

I try not to put asterisks next to champions' names for (fill in the blank reason)...BUT...if ever an asterisk would apply, Mir might be it. But he's still a champion.
I agree with this but what are their options? Zarco a zero race winner with no championships? They don't have a better option. Also the suzuki was a good bike if Mir can turn honda in that direction than they have a bright future. Pipedreams sure but he is their best bet. Bet on him or lose him next year and they will have no body.

A result I am sure Honda would be extremely happy to take for the 2024 season.

I don’t really like him, but I am not sure who would be better for them particularly since he is starting to show one lap pace which approaches MM, hardly something everyone on the grid could do.

Perhaps Binder or Oliveira might be better, but they are not available. The top Ducati riders aren’t available either, but given they are all (except Martin recently) quite good at throwing the current dominant bike down the road I doubt the Honda would be unproblematic for them. A consistent rider might actually be best for the current Honda, and as has been said the Suzuki was a good bike to which he may contributed.

This may please a few people but grapevine talk is that Darth Puig has been advised that 2023 is his last year with HRC.

Absolutely no confirmation anywhere at all, just talk I have seen twice although both places reference the same source (and I think that source is 2nd hand to start with).

But if true ................... here goes a major conspiracy theory.

Pedrosa back to HRC for 2024 to develop and build bike
MM returns 2025 to a better bike

Ok, so very far-fetched and all but with Puig gone (again, if true) then the opportunity may be endless

I hope HRC take a wild swing and pick up someone from Moto2.

In mind

Alonzo Lopez
Celestino vietti
Tony arbolino
Deniz oncu. Moto 3
Ivan guevera
Albert arenas
Jake dixon
Aron canet - probably the guy most suited to a bigger bike.

Di Giannantonio's crew chief will be M Marquez's next year. Is this a hint that M Marquez will get something similar to what Di Giannantonio has this year? If so then its a budget team for M Marquez.

BTW where to Di Giannantonio?

Not sure what you are insinuating here but Diggias crew chief and presumably Marc's for next yr is Frankie Carchedi, who was Mirs crew chief for his title winning year at Suzuki.

Of that list I like Lopez and Guevara. Perhaps Canet would get on with the bigger bike but in Moto2 he crashes as much as MM in MotoGP. I believe he has 20-something so far this year.

I suspect this is an indication that M Marquez is going to get pretty much what Di Giannantonio has this year rather than having a team built around him. Anyway looks like we won't know much until after the end of MM's 2023 contract

Pretty good film. There was also a sequel with a different name that was good.

I have broken more bones than I can keep track off. My last big crash was the worst. Bad concussion, broken vertebra, ribs in the front and back 7 in total, dislocated my collarbone from my sternum. Bruised lung. My head was cloudy for over a year.
Was debating whether or not to respond, 'cause I don't want to sound like, "Yo, been there too". but kind of have been. Had all those injuries plus collapsed lung and broken hip. But .... ME, not all at the same time! Totally relate to the fog. Recuperating now from two spinal fusions with another 4 months till I can expect to feel "back to normal". Seriously, glad yer through it Man. What a ....... ordeal.
