Wow, there was quite some tension in those final few laps. Moreira will be one to watch next year, he showed great pace in some races this year, glad to see he rewarded himself with a podium. Canet was on a tear in the second half of the season. He'll surely start next year as the clear championship favorite. Aldeguer seemed to fry his tires charging to the front and dropped all the way back to 10th or 11th at the end. Curious to see how it'll go for him in MotoGP next year. This season was quite lackluster compared to the expectations.

Overall Moto2 was great to watch this year, I thoroughly enjoyed the action throughout the season.

I'm so ....... anxious right now. The first lap of the Moto2 race has made me even more anxious. Even if Jörg does the right thing and decide to just run a calm, conservative race there's always the chance that something happens on lap one. When a lap one crash happens around you there's pretty much nothing you can do.

He sacrificed 20 Million (reportedly) to ride a second hand Ducati. Backed himself. He gave up the biggest contract in the history of the sport to ride for a satellite team. Again, he backed himself. Marquez = all on black. Or red as it turned out.
There is no such thing as a second hand Ducati. It's the second best Ducati, also known as the second best bike on the grid.

Going from the far worst to the second best is a no brainer.

Picking up €20 this season, and €0 for the next two - four seasons vs. €5 + €10x4 is also a no brainer.

Finally, getting a couple of podiums vs getting a couple of world championships also a no brainer.

Marc has divorced his previously stunning wife after three kids, left her the pick up and house, and pitched up with the young dutches on the shores of lake Como and about to have his fourth.

So far fairly safe for Martin. If Espargaro and Bastianini fight that'll reduce the risk from behind. And, he can just watch if Marc is going to get past Bagnaia.

EDIT: Acosta still upright and still has all the parts of his bike.

EDIT: Very processional.

EDIT: Bastianini not doing the thing where he moves forward in the race at all.

Also, congratulations to Ducati for proper sporting behavior to let Martin and Bagnaia duke it out on their own terms. I was angry at the factory team for their reneging on Martin for the factory seat and suspicious of their comportment to end the season nefariously. I am happy to have been wrong and apologies to that factory team!

KTM and Aprilia are better than the GP23. Outside of Márquez both bikes outperformed the GP23.
