2020 Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana Circuit Ricard Tormo

I'm gonna go way offside and go Alex Marquez...

I thought about that too....possible.

I think the fact Marquez the Alex is so close to the front just goes to show that there are no clear real front runners in the current crop of new riders. They are all essentially one year removed from Moto 2.

Michelin lottery, the bikes are now all so close are arguments used to explain this bunching up at the front.

Where have all the heros gone? Is this the end of superstars in MotoGP?

Or perhaps, a couple are just taking a little more time to get their bearings.....

Somehow I do not believe Marquez will visit the podium this season again. His confidence got a great boost and then he crashed. Methinks this crash ended his success streak for now.

The Honda does seem to work well at Aragon, particularly on the last corner, which Alex was able to use to his advantage. Marc over the previous years was flying through that corner as well. Perhaps the Marquez brothers will turn into a hell of a team in the coming years. As I saw someone say online, can't remember who it was. But it was along the lines of Alex doesn't have Marc's talents but he has other strengths that Marc doesn't. Alex could strangely end up being the perfect #2 for his brother after Pol doesn't work out.

I think this season made Honda realise that their bike really needed work. they admitted to themselves that Marc was the reason for their success but if he does get injured it does hurt their brand.

Riders like Stoner and Marquez have been for years "enabling" Honda engineers addiction to sophisticated whizz-bang marvels of engineering that don't translate into meaningful advantages for riders.

With Mir starting from 5th, is this the week that could see his first win? Mind you I can see Rins doing very well.

Rins is visibly maturing in my book and since he has nothing to lose he is probably the biggest obstacle in Mir' way to victory tomorrow.
