Yowsuh! Czech republic GP tomorrow. Two - count 'em - two Frenchies in the first two spots. I have really liked Zarco for a long time. Hoping like hell he gets to prove his naysayers wrong. Good to see Morbid in 3rd Last year 2nd and 3rd on the podium were Ducatis. Won't see either Marquez up there tomorrow.

Seems as though he likes the Lorenzo developed Ducati as he did the Lorenzo developed Yamaha.

Wow....what a good race....

Binder - Remarkable!
Franky - Good to see him progress
Zarco - That penalty loop ride was awesome
Rins - Give that man some pain killers
Rossi - You need to be more agressive in your passes
Olivera - 3 more laps the 3rd was yours
Fabio - Keep your cool and fight the next 2 weeks.

Dovi - Needs to the next 2 weeks or else his job goes in 2021
P.Asparagus - Still want to go Repsol HRC?
Maverick - you are killing me with your starts

Keep in mind that the Pedrosa has been helping KTM develop their bike into what we are seeing week on week....HRC should be begging Pedrosa to come back as test rider for them, since right now their bike development is at a dead end thanks to MMs riding style....

Stupid decision by Race Direction. Pol brought that on himself with the mistake he made a few corners before.

Kind of what I thought, but Simon Crafar who has won 1 more premier class race than most rather differed. If he doesn’t make the mistake Zarco isn’t there, and he seemed to be coming back over to the racing line as much as Zarco was grabbing it. Crafar reckoned Zarco needed to be clearly in front to take that line. I think Pol was riding a little raggedly because he was worried about Binder getting away from him myself.

FWIW Chris Vermulen sided with Zarco. Said Pol runs wide Zarco keeps his line and there’s not much that Zarco could do. He also believed evasive action from Zarco would’ve resulted in both of them going down.

Yes. The line was open and zarco didn't deliberately punt him. Racing.

Ktm. I told you all. They're here to contest not make numbers.

Yes, KTM have succeeded everywhere else, and with Red Bull money behind them we should have taken them at their word that they were going to win a race within 5 years, trellis frame chassis and all.

Looks like Honda discarding Pedrosa as someone said wasn’t a good move, particularly if it was payback from Darth Puig, not that there was probably any point having him doing any development work while going all in on MM, and the factory Ducatis look horrible, so perhaps Lorenzo did contribute when there, particularly since this was Gigi’s view; haven’t heard much from or about him this season.

After last race he downplayed Pecco, who was as fast as the race winner until his engine explodes, now this:

Definitely Ducati needs to sack this guy. His time of misleading Ducati is running out.

Dovi was never an alien. He is what he is and always is, he didn't evolve a tad. He was just surfing what was the best bike on the grid together with Yamaha having all sorts of problems, not offering any resistance for the 2nd spot on the championship racing. Now that we have Yamaha, MM, even KTM in the mix, and a lot of hungrier newcomers, he's gone.

Bye! Fake alien.

Wow, when the cat’s away the mice will play.
Can’t see what else Zarco could have done w/Pol.
Kudos to Fabio for keeping a level head. (Not that he really had a choice.)
Gutsy race from Rins.
Mav, once again this is turning into a trend, one you don’t want.

Congrats to Binder. And to KTM. I don't think there was much doubt in the minds of folks who've followed racing that a combination of KTM and Red Bull, two entities that are super focused and just plain good at winning, would eventually get where they are. I am tho, really pleasantly surprised that they managed to pull it off in such a short time. As to what degree Pedrosa can be said to be responsible for this quantum leap in progress from last year to now... I'd want to hear it from a top person at KTM.

Have to admit, I would never have expected Morbidelli to just walk away from Fabio like that. Haven't had time to look at tire allocation, but of course it has to have been a factor. The way Yamaha keeps falling behind in development is truly sad. They have such a great tradition of greatness. I do fully expect that Fabio will come back strong.

And Zarco, gotta say I thought that pass was okay. He's been accused of rough passing before, and I really think that's what motivated race control to question the pass.

All in all, I can't recall the last time a final lap was so loaded with drama - for all three riders. Nearly pissed myself. Totally love and admire Marc, but it's defo better racing when he's away. The absence of the guy who predictably annihilates the field, definitely changes the mind-set of all the other riders. Totally different dynamic.

As to the "Dovi was never an alien" nonsense, puhhleeeze:rolleyes:. He's old and he's burned out - but show me another rider who's beaten Marquez more times than Dovi.

Jorge Lorenzo. Also, the ONLY one able to took the crowd from him in 2015. It wasn't by accident Honda took him out from Ducati. Ducati letting him go was a big mistake.

I know your love for "the strategist", but he's not an allien, I'm sorry. Never motogp world champion = no allien thing, sorry. A single title would be not enough for this "allien thing" (just like NH69), let alone a zero.

No Lorenzo did not beat Marquez anywhere near as many times as Dovi. I don’t know what it is about the Dovizioso that sets you off and frankly I don’t care. We have seen this kind of irrational hostility towards Stoner and other riders. In any event the expression alien is kind of silly. Who is and isn’t is totally subjective. Your contention that Dovi Is just a average rider taking advantage of having the best bike, doesn’t hold water. The fact that there have been so few winners on the Ducati bares that out.

Are you sure you watch MotoGP? Ah, yeah, the guy that another day also said Dovi had won more races than Dani Pedrosa... another shame. Ok, let's go!

Together with MM on track:

Dovi wins (since 2016, his first victory with Duc): 13 times.

Lorenzo wins (since 2013, the debut year for MM where he got champion already): 24 times (7 times in 2015 alone. 3 times beat both MM and Dovi, the former on the same bike).

Also, Lorenzo beat MM on the title race, becoming world champion, something much bigger than winning isolated races here and there but never getting the title, like Dovi (win a race, the next gets 11th.. what a great rider...). Also, Lorenzo managed to beat MM on two completely different machines.

The fact that you have an weak memory doesn't mean Dovizioso was, once upon a time, excluding MM, the best of the rest. In any case, you could have done a quick search on google before saying bullcrap.

Honda managed to hire Lorenzo because he was growing a big threat for them riding the Ducati. Honda isn't fool.
