Yeah they are kinda ridiculously expensive atm. I put a mid-drive pedal assist kit in my DHmtb. You can shuttle yourself with it, so now I find I ride heaps more.

Youd have a lot of downhill stuff up there wouldnt you?

Yeah mate. It's ridiculous the amount of trails, kind of a mtb Mecca. I've ridden many on the dirt bike, but alot of spots are closed to motorbikes.. Plenty extra to explore under pedal power. Gotta say I'm one of the few that have been allowed to drive the bump, in my role as firefighter. Got to drive a f250 big block ambulance up once on a recovery mission.. Hella a Fun

Quite simply I don't have the free cash to buy an E-bike, and to be honest I don't think I need one at this point. I rode this thing up the bump track weekend just gone. Took me over two hours to get there, but worth it to ride back down. BUMP TRACK - Ride Cairns

Here's a pic of what will be my bike when I can get it made after the legs fitted, its the advert pic and it will have mods to it so that I can either a) jump off, b) fall off, without damage.

Not that colour though I want the metalized orange/black frame paint

Even though Marc is not known for his 'taking things easy' approach, there is a championship on the line and agree with what you say that this is not so much a Honda track these days.

For my thinking, Marquez needs only to stay near Dovi and pressure him to see if he can get a mistake that will then win Marc the title.

With all this going on, it could be a race for someone to sneak a win while the two protagonists get side tracked and no, not making adverse suggestions but MM wins the title even if both Dove and himself DNF and Rossi does not win ..........

I'm hoping that it'll be a race just like Thailand :D

Actually now there you go .... with the leg and associated damage you should test a few eMTBs. Brilliant for recovery ... and lingering ailments ( age being mine .... and Im finding that post 60 all the old injuries are sending me reminders lol. )

Awesome mate. Bike looks sweet, nice and slack. I've been having a blast night (urbanish) riding.. Just now dropped in a 20 step, steep as .... stair rail. A beer or two helps settle the nerves I find. Really enjoying it at the moment

I don't like ebikes, just don't seem natural, plus of course having ridden bikes most of my life the aches and pains aren't to bad lol. Plus again they are great for fitness.

I had a ride on the earlier version in 2015, was the biggest they had but was about 2 inches to short on height and 3 in length, but then at around £3.8k they don't come cheap hahahaha.

Marc will take it. The season will end up with no yama win in Moto since 2003. Horrible. Rossi and vin cant win on it. Yama needs to look over their ..... Too bad dovi woke up late again and too bad he made those stupid mistakes that led to him crashing earlier this season.

Excuse me but Yamaha has had lots of wins since 2003, what planet you hiding on?

Mate, based on you looking to buy a bike, in light of your current situation I assume you will be receiving a prosthetic leg?

Kudos mate for forging ahead with your life in the face of such a challenge.

Much respect to you.

Yes it will be a prosthetic and I've already worn it once to check the balance, will be another month before I return for 2nd fit and then it'll be pictures and off to the bike people to work out the rotation etc that needs sorting, life is very exciting atm and even though I have bad days with ghost pain and anger at how it all happened, I'd not swap anything.

Effin' best time of the year as a Moto fan!

Just bought coffee supplies for the 3 upcoming sunday-early ups, it's a shame there really isn't a title contention in MotoGP this year, but the 3 tracks are so fun to watch I guess we'll all have a good time anyways.

For Motegi I predict an expectable Dovi-MM battle btw :p

Marquez pace in FP4 ominous. Will need to see what tires they were on new vs used but he had a consistent 2-3 10ths on the next closest and 5/10 ths on Dovi.

Go Miller! Spewing he dropped it on his final lap which was looking even better. Tyres choice will be interesting.

He used 15 lap old tires and was in the mid-45's on them. I think it was medium.

Petrucci - Miller balance is going the wrong way for Ducati. I do not see Petrucci in the same class with Marc and Dovi, while Miller just may have it ... time will tell.

Just saw that. Unless Dovi was sand bagging , he is in trouble trying to keep the championship alive. Marc trashed his number 1 bike at the end of Fp4 and had to use back up bike which didn’t have the same set up. Hopefully he won’t go all red mist trying to make up everything in the first corner.
