Baring a rain repeat ala 2017 - pretty much everyone's money is on Marquez for the win.

Doesn't he only need 5th or better?

MM
Maverick
Dovi

Nope.

He just needs to finish within 2 points of Dovi (ie. if MM finishes 15th, Dovi needs to be no higher than 13th) and Rossi must not win the race.

100 points on offer.
He leads Dovi by 77 points
He leads Rossi by 99 points

By 5th I meant if he was 5th and the others are behind him then he's won anyway. sorry for the confusing question but I'm under chemotherapy atm and the old brain is drifting a bit.

Basically if he finishes ahead of Dovi he wins the title unless they are battling for 5 th instead of their normal podium spots.

Dude, you have all the luck. I'm struggling with PT three times a week for shoulder broken in three places and smashed up elbow. I recall your situation, and stop my bitching. Especially 'cause it was my own fault. Anyhow... hang in there Mate. Really glad yer still here.

I'm glad my pt is finished for now as I'm told I'm ahead of the curve for the new leg, still do my exercises every day for 2 hours on a walking frame, mostly for upper body strength as its .... when you fall over lol.
My weight which was normally round the 210-215lb mark is higher now at 230 and rising, what with the drugs and exercise.

You'll get there eventually and wonder how you managed I know I do.

I don’t know man, that may be Honda’s home track but the high speed braking and acceleration points, look at the Ducs being strong here. Basically the Honda and Duc are strong everywhere ,but like you said it’s hard to bet against Marc on any track.

Amen to that. It's been almost 7 weeks and 3 Lbs is about as much as I can lift with the left arm. Typing one-handed sucks.

To keep motivated I bought a Husqvarna 511 SMR and I go out to the garage every few days and start it up. It smells good.

Even though Marc is not known for his 'taking things easy' approach, there is a championship on the line and agree with what you say that this is not so much a Honda track these days.

For my thinking, Marquez needs only to stay near Dovi and pressure him to see if he can get a mistake that will then win Marc the title.

With all this going on, it could be a race for someone to sneak a win while the two protagonists get side tracked and no, not making adverse suggestions but MM wins the title even if both Dove and himself DNF and Rossi does not win ..........

I've got a Husqvarna chain saw, that runs on 2 stroke lol.

You havent gone eMTB yet then?

Mind you for the price of an eMTB you can get one of the SWM versions of Kesh's Husky.

Quite simply I don't have the free cash to buy an E-bike, and to be honest I don't think I need one at this point. I rode this thing up the bump track weekend just gone. Took me over two hours to get there, but worth it to ride back down. BUMP TRACK - Ride Cairns

Yeah they are kinda ridiculously expensive atm. I put a mid-drive pedal assist kit in my DHmtb. You can shuttle yourself with it, so now I find I ride heaps more.

Youd have a lot of downhill stuff up there wouldnt you?
