JLo gave up as soon as petrux passed him ...Lorenzo with these stupid soft/soft tire selections just kills his race by 1/3 distance.

I feel awful for Zarco

But if you are Suzuki do you take the expensive gamble of JLo?It's fascinating how as soon as his tires start dropping he has nothing left to give.
But man he needs to get off the Ducati. Watching the shape the bike makes through the corners, it is absolutely the wrong bike for his style. He cannot generate corner speed like he used to. It's madness riding a bike so ill-suited for one's style.

I'd say don't do it....make JLo pay for his ride in 2019 at Suzuki

1.2 million euro a year is his value in my view....10% of his current contract and same what Dovi got paid this past 2 years I had read somewhereI think you offer a few million and that's it. Ducati surely is not going to offer anything better.
Good Victory and boring raceMarquez with another victory.

He does have 3 world titles so I figure a million for each one of them. Dovi didn't have anything going till last year, so the pay made sense.

Might as well say this.
Smart, smart race by Rossi. He had decent pace, but not race winning pace (Or even podim pace if no one crashed out). But he rode well, kept the right side up and gapped Miller when it was needed to ensure P3. Kudos.
Sure, good ride by him, he probably would have beaten Zarco even if he stayed on his bike.
Petrucci and Miller both went soft and soft and pretty much lasted till the end of the race. Lorenzo on the Yamaha was renowned for lasting on soft tires, he certainly is very ill-matched to the Ducati as you say.
Dovi was perhaps feeling his oats too much after signing the new contract, he didn't need to get out of shape that early in the race, last year he won races with late race pace.
I feel really bad for Zarco. I would have really loved to see him win today.
The two times he overtook Marquez, he gave zero ...... If that KTM is even remotely competent next year, he is going to raise a lot more eyebrows than he already has.
