I hope he is fit to ride, however I will say this, he rode once with a massive concussion, which he admitted to later by saying he didn’t remember much of a lap. I'm not cool with that. I understand there is massive pressure to ride, but it's stupid for these guys to endanger fellow competitors, themselves, not to mention medical staff need to do their job without factoring in anything other than rider safety. For the record, Petrucci had the same thing happen. Not worth it.

He's good on worn tires, but worn soft/soft tires can't be overridden if you are generating wheelspin that is costing tenths here and there. Plus there is the Marquez factor in play. Zarco has looked good at races in the early stages but hasn't been able to maintain the pace as tire wear becomes more and more prominent. He wants this race badly though and that may work against him especially if he finds himself mobbed at the start of the race and drops back.
Crashes I think are down to the track surface being so grippy that any slide has the potential for a crash as soon as grip comes back or in Crutchlow's case a highside.
Sad attempts at jabs being your exclusive preserve on this forum?. For someone who does rather more than a modicum of jabbing himself you are thin-skinned about anyone coming back at you, even mildly and with some sort of point which is what I intended in this instance. It is difficult to think of many things Yamaha have done right in this season and the last btw.
All jokes/jabs aside, it is hard not to speculate that this dismissal is related to the choice of manufacturer for VDS going forward, the amount of money involved which Bartholemy denies anyway doesn't sound sufficient for him to risk his future over. If it is Suzuki vs Yamaha for next year, I obviously don't know whether it is negotiations with Yamaha or negotiations with Suzuki that he mishandled, and perhaps Honda could come into it as well, and if he has overplayed his hand which I would consider months of open speculation in the press with no contract for bike supply eventuating to constitute, no bikes from any of those 3 manufacturers is presumably also a possibility. Riders being contracted to him rather than the team is a reason to sack him anyway imo, I can't see how that is any way to run a motogp team, given one presumes it is the team/Mr VDS who is paying the riders.

No surprise really with Lorenzo's answer which is, afterall correct but as I believe you mentioned a few pages back, these two have not liked one another for years so no being team mates was going to change, it was always going ti surface as it does with others who have animosity.
The shame for me is that Dovi is allowing himself to get caught up in it all as usually there would be an outcry about the bad mouthing type of comments, but in this case he has the subject in his favour as JL is not that well likes by the majority (it would seem)

So Cal is going to race, but I don't get the positioning, quoted from the MotoGP site.
"Crutchlow was discharged from hospital this morning, and was declared fit to take part in Sunday’s race. Fantastic news for the number 35, who finished P10 in morning Warm Up, and will start the race from P13."
If he was 10th in Q1 wouldn't that put him 22nd on the grid?
Why is he getting p13?
