I looked at the regs and derogations, but everything I've seen specifies M1 category vehicles (with a few loopholes). No mention of L-category vehicles anywhere other than a future proposal to add CO2 regulations for motorcycles in the future.

If the automobile manufacturers are purchasing motorcycle companies to pool CO2, the strategy appears to be influenced by other legislation. The implementation of Kyoto protocol perhaps? Not sure.

That's pretty much how I read it. Was happy to be corrected, but I was quite certain that it's just passenger cars....with light commercials being considered as well. Now that you and Krop have had a look, I'm confident to call BS on Ducati being purchased to in order to pool.

As I wrote before, it's good for Ferdy "Breeder" Piech's ego. That's all.

So they say they only want to return as a 'front runner'. Does anyone honestly they will be that? Their budgetary constraints ensures they won't ever reach that level.

They can only be a front runner if they have a front running rider. No amount of bike development or budget can put them at the front with out it.

Maybe they think they can lure Pedrosa or <span style="color:#d3d3d3;Stoner in 2015.

He may not have a choice. If it means staying on a Factory bike in MotoGP then he will ride a Suzuki if that is the only option.

ok, but to be replaced at honda by whom? i can't see anybody from moto2 to take his place, and the guys from moto 3 can't make the leap.

i watch superbike too, but the same thing here...nobody on par with pedrosa

While I sympathize with your reasoning, at the moment, I can't see anyone stepping up to take the place of Pedrosa, other than Crutchlow, and I'm not sure Crutchlow would fit in will in the tightly-controlled atmosphere at HRC. They had their hands full with Stoner, and don't really want another repeat of that.

Apart from possibly Redding and possibly Espargaro - but let's not get carried away just yet - the only riders looking good enough to take a factory ride are currently in Moto3. Rins, Marquez (A) and Vinales are all genuine quality riders, but they won't hit MotoGP until 2016 at the very earliest.

And regarding Pedro, he will have the exact same experience VR had when he went to factory Ducati. Why u fools cant understand this is beyond me. His career has been padded by having it practically all his way.

The one in the pic has been "beautified", that .... looks like the Devil in stock trim. They had one at the int'l moto show here in Long Beach. To a man, each said as I overheard them comment, "damn thats ugly".

Fukar - to fornicate, but also is used to describe the brain. The early Scandinavians believed there was a close link between the two.

Witta - to disappear or to fade

Therefore .... Wit = brain fade

Therefore Fuckwhittery = an act or comment caused by brain fade
