No one pays you to think, so don't. I said i would cease to attend GP events in protest of the CRT's. Like the AMA, i will still follow the series, but they will not receive any of my money. Capisce!!

..... in seats go a long way towards what kind of tv contract a sport is able to negotiate. If a sport has sparse crowds, the tv contract will suffer.

Tell what to Qatar, they are not the sport, they don't negotiate tv contracts. But im glad you brought it up, because if every venue had attendance like Qatar, Moto GP would have a TV contract like DMG.

Qatar is more an advertisement of how rich the sheiks are than a motogp race. Would any other venue have the cash to light the entire circuit? For the answer check motomatters where they reported a number of circuits in serious financial difficulty and possibly dropping off the calendar.. They are desperate for high attendance to boost revenue at the venue. Pov is right.
