All riders "whinge" some more than others as do most posters here LOL......
Re the introduction of CRT this coming season - something had to be done to increase the field and I'm sure any other options would have got the same cricticism by any true motogp follower - mostly from US ol school supporters compared to the younger brigade.
Considering the $$$$ restraints in this day and age and never enough true factory entries I'm with open eyes how this season commences.
We always begrudge "change" but possibly some good may develop from this if not straight away but in another 2-3yrs (more factories entered) BUT will this be at the cost in time of the wild 2wheeled pedigree weapons tamed by so few !

It wasnt imagined like my friend BM would lead u to believe. Stoner said the big bang was down on power and when he injured his wrist it didnt heal for in a timely manner which he mentioned a during the season. In the scope of riders mentioning their injuries as problems in relation to their performance, i suppose it qualifies for a whine.
Its the double standard thing in play here buddy. Peeps like Mental & Mr. Squigz can .... all day on Rossi mentioning his pesky shoulder and calling it whining; but when Stoner essentially did same for stuff suddenly it didnt happen or was imagined. So either we all say they all whine (ie Michaelm) or we have what we normally have, fans of X rider say he is infallible & never whines, etc.

no worries i'm not blinded by anyones ......... but i can certainly smell the ........ when its being posted and there are currently in my opinion 3 different posters incapable of debating without bias distorting their view.
btw, motomatters has an article in which stoner explicitly states that the big bang is good enough (which surprised me) and wasn't lorenzo the guy with the broken wrists at the beginning of 2010?

You don't think the bloke who tried to overtake him in the wet from a suburb away on a bike he hadn't then been able to ride in the dry, and couldn't subsequently, wearing a helmet inscribed with the italian word for fanny was perhaps rather more fannyish in that particular incident?. He even retained the helmet with said inscription when making his apology for the incident, perhaps to add sincerity.

Like I said there is a new centre of the Motogp universe. For example, look back over which threads run longest. Stoner ones. And it's all so entertaining, I love it. Look at the Montegi thread. It goes on and on and on and finally the story comes out Rossi is scared too and don't want to go. Mr consistent posting jumkie tries to bait talpa into a response, but talpa is long gone and suddenly the thread ends. So jumkie gets bored and switches tack, finds some new friends to try and keep this place going and attempts to make mr squiz his new talpa and bobbers into neobobbers. The next longest running threat becomes non other than stoner threatens to leave. Watch this and the attitude one go. It's a 15 page job for sure. Poor fans the Rossi threads have all dried up.
Off topic, I have friends going to Ebisu for the drift matsuri soon, have been told by people living there not to stay in a few prefectures close to the track as there are 'high' levels of radiation within all of the concrete in the area :/
I doubt it is going to do much to them if bound up in concrete. The problem though, such as it is, is contamination as this implies rather than direct radiation from the reactor, which I believe they have now shut down, although the spent fuel rods haven't gone away.

Given the Ebisu circuit is in Fukushima prefecture itself, and only about 70km from the Dai-ni nuclear plant, I'd say they should be more worried about being at the track. There is (or was) a safari park as part of the circuit. If your friends get there and find all the animals gone, then maybe they shouldn't stay for the event...
What are they doing in Japan now, it seems to have gone off the radar overseas. How big and how permanent are the exclusion zones, and what is the attitude of the locals? Radiation counters were virtually unobtainable here a few months ago, the world supply having been taken by the Japanese market, so I imagine a fair amount of independent and individual measuring of things has gone on.
