Bautista screwed up by that unnecessary overtake maneuver he tried to pull on Simoncelli and lost valuable time. That is why the backmarkers couldn't move over enough for both Bautista and Simoncelli because of the increase gap due to Bautista's earlier mistake. Even so it looked like Bautista had the faster bike, but it seemed like he just gave up after that mistake.

Did anyone notice Aoyama .... the KTM hoarding in his garage? If Harrold Bartol did, young Hiro's no doubt headed in a similar direction.

Being a massive Bautista fan, I'm very dissapointed Simoncelli won the title this season especially in the way he did. He has proven to me that he has a hell of alot to learn and he needs to start befriending his rivals on and off the track, as I can't think of anyone in the top 5 who he gets on with at all.
Still Alvaro will thrash him next season.

As in Faster, more consistent and a better racer than all his rivals? Bautistas season has been a bit disappointing, but i don't think anyone saw Marco's form coming. Next season will be interesting.
