7th on grid i believe...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Louise @ Apr 21 2007, 06:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Yeah, Lorenzo was battling with Dovi last year and it was down to the last race at Valencia, that either Jorge or Andrea were to win and take the crown. I think that it's going to be very close this year as well because Dovizioso wants it even more after what happened last year. Also, he tries too hard to not just get on the podium, but to beat Lorenzo because he's eager to steal the crown off of him. Hasn't Dovizioso been in there longer than Lorenzo?

No, they moved up in the same season i believe, the difference being that Dovi was the 125cc world champion at the time. So far Dovi is looking even hungrier than last year, which is excellent because if he gets a few wins in its going to be an awesome scrap for the title. And it may not be long before they both need to take Bautista a tad more seriously

Well the 250cc grid this year is really a very talented lot. Lorenzo seems to be in command so far, but the rookies are right up there with Bautista (and Kallio and Lüthi to a lesser extent) being a pain on his ... and Dovi with his nimble Honda will be a threat in all the flowing slow tracks.

Plus the usual suspects Barberá, De Angelis, Aoyama etc will also win races.

Keep an eye on Julian Simón!!

125cc has been rampaged and most of the talent has gone to 250cc, so only a few veterans will fight for the wins Talmacsi, Faubel, Pesek, Passini ...

Though it's always interesting because it's were the trully talented kids start showing their skills and usually you get to see very wacky, crazy races.

Oh and of course the very interesting fight for 27th position between Joey and Hugo.

Pasini on pole for the 125 race, and Dovi keeping Lozzy honest in the 250's with the rookies Bautista and Kallio in the mix up there.

Unbelievable! Best race of the season so far and I doubt anything will top that! 7 man race for the finish until five laps from the end, when it was down to Corsi and Olive, then there was a seven man fight for 3rd. Koyama took it, but Bradley was up to 5th until he had a moment out of the last corner. Finished 8th, one thousandth behind Zanetti in seventh! 3 seconds from 1-8, like I said, unbelievable!

Best 125cc race for ages, thrilling throughout and one level better when Smith arrived at the end.

The 250 cc race was again incredible, The usual playersa again but Dovi was incredible, he rode perfectly all weekend and i cannot get over how solid his moves were. I am dissapointed that De angelis is yet to show actual race winning pace, he always seems to be a step back from the others.

that was some awesom racing!!! man anybody who thinks that the 125s or 250s are dull need to pay attention & reasses their view! the 125 race was pass drunk! there was more damn passin goin on than i could keep up with! 2 not very familiar guys 1st & 2nd. corsi & olive brilliant race for them. good to see some new faces on the box. koyama had a stonkin race to 3rd. excellent. the aspar team had their problems today especially faubel. but the guy who has got to be the unluckyist racer so far this season has got to be poor mattia pasini. this kid is snake bit this year. i hope things get better for him cause he is, imo, 1 of the best 125 riders out there. the 250 race was just a classic! they just lined up nose to tail at 1st then with 8 to go the fireworks started! fantastic race by dovi. he showed true aggression & racecraft. on an under powered honda no less! that last lap manuever was fantastic. lorenzo wanted that win but it just did'nt happen. he came out & said the dovizioso was just better than him today. good on him for that. i think he's maturing nicely.he's still gonna win the championship handily imo! that was a great move to get 2nd back from bautista. & bautista... this kid is defo a major talent. man that was just prime racing from him! deAngelis had a good race going but i think his choice of the soft rubber bit him in the .... luthi had a good steady race & brought it home for what was the best possible result for the day. it's a damn shame we are gonna lose this track!

The 250 was superb for a minute I thought Bautista had it until Lozzy went in front, but that last lap was a masterclass from Dovi, props to him...

they just keep getting better these 2 classes do!

125's were awesome (or rather) bradley was awesome! is it too optimistic to think that me maybe just sneak in a podium this year? i dont know maybe...

poor pascini i bet his mechanics made a run for it when he got back to the garage. unlucky doesnt even start to cover it
<

250 race was bloody brilliant. well done Dovi
<
i love to see someone, anyone, stuff it up Lorenzo! too bad bauti's last corner move didnt stick, jorge would have been really pissed then. Dovi certainly earned his wage this weekend
<

Pasini's an ...... He doesn't know when to stop when it's a fact that his bike isn't working. I know it's good to have a positive view, but in Jerez, he knocked Bradley over!!! He's been so stupid this season

And the 250 race. That scared me because I wanted Jorge to win again
<
It would have been good to see Alvaro on the podium, he's definitley got the style of 125's but more of the 250's.

Was it just me or did Jorge seem really, really annoyed that he didn't win? I don't think I saw him smile once after the race.
<

Yeah, he was annoyed. He's too much like Rossi, but at least Rossi enjoys a battle; Lorenzo doesn't, he likes to just dominate and hold up the MotoGP class so they can't get interviewed after the race. That's the only thing that annoys me about Lorenzo. Apart from that, he's a great racer, but I'm not too sure on 'Lorenzo's Land'
<

The 250 race today was soooo good, Dovi rode like a genius he really deserved that win. Lorenzo looked like a spoilt brat on the podium.

Pasini is no ....., he is having a terrible time this season and a lot of bike trouble. He got hot headed in Jerez but these things happen to young rider when they get frustrated.

As for Lorenzo, he looked very disapointed at first, afterall hes pretty determined. But after the trophies were given out he was smiling and actually looked pretty chuffed, and of course he had the good grace to give Dovi his credit in the interview. As for his celebrations, they are not the reason we eurosport viewers miss the post race motogp interviews, that is a programming issue they have.

really enjoyed the 250 race

Dovi played a blinder - Lorenzo clearly does't like getting his feathers ruffled but he still rode a very good race.
