I've always known him to be a level headed guy. I suspect, as he's only been coming around sporadically - he's experiencing your posts in their combative mode and has misjudged you. Since I put Krap Magnet on ignore, I'm not in combat mode and able to have perfectly civil discourse with RCV, who, despite our various contentions, I never had issues with, prior to the arrival of Troll Boi.

Never had any communication with this poster before,he doesn't come around very often,i find it somewhat ironic that he accuses others of being trolls while displaying classic troll like behaviour himself,namely popping up out of the blue,childishly mocking my user name and starting conflict by encouraging others to ignore me as though he has any influence on here because he joined before me,i expect he's gone back under his rock for a few more months now,great contributer that he is.
He is or was a fantastic long term poster which as much knowledge about, and insight into, the sport as anyone who has ever posted on this forum.
I think like many he just got sick of all the argy bargy on here, from our current doctrinaire friend and before him. If you engage with the poster concerned you get tarred with his brush, which is true for me as well obviously.
I have been guilty of engaging with Beavis and Butthead and lowering myself to their level,i have no intention of engaging with either of them again ,race talk or otherwise,they have nothing new to say and only speak .... anyway.

Just my two cents and you can tell me to get ...... if you like. But I think RCV is s great poster on this forum and like many of you (yourself included) someone who’s opinion and posts I have a lot of time for.
The whole Synn ‘... for tat’ insults ping pong is really very ‘clogging’ and bringing the quality of the posts and forum down. Let’s not lower our standards down to that of THE lowest common denominator. pyeman, really mate... just put that ........ ...... on ignore and be done with it, he’s beneath you, we are here to discuss the racing, crack some Uccio jokes

There are a few old-timers who are gone now, one being M-Dub who I could not abide, except when, he wasn't being prodded by Knock-Job, we got along fine. We fought constantly and then when Knock-Job wasn't there to fire things up, Dub and I got along just fine and we stopped all the flaming. Birdy is all right and mayhaps next time he pops in, instead of assuming he's looking for a fight, just chill. Always found him to be a real fan and a mensch. Just saying'. Peace.

At the end of the day we all share the same disease... Being fanatical fans of the greatest sport on the planet otherwise we wouldn’t gravitate to this place. We all have different opinions on topics but let’s not forget that important thing we all have in common. Know a lot about the sport know a little who cares? Post up experiences of the sport, meet ups, adventures, favourite riders, whatever. Tell us all how much you love Rossi, Marquez, Dovi, Lorenzo, Vinales in the end are we all blessed or what, this sport is epic. Dont forget Miller, god damn legend that ....... Aussie!

Thanks to the various posters for the nice words. I've been flat out at work, and there wasn't a race since I last posted, so I hadn't really read the new posts.
There was a period where Keshav and a few other posters had gone too far with their constant anti-Rossi diatribe to the point where nothing else could be usefully discussed, and to the point where anyone who offered a reasonable counterpoint would be attacked childishly.
It looks like Keshav and a few others reflected on this and have toned this down. Keshav even posted a little less, and came back with recently with better posts. Credit where it's due: the clogging has reduced a lot.
A few posters, like pyeman, don't really contribute to the discussion about racing, and need to reconsider their approach.
The story with Synn was that he made intelligent contributions when he joined, but a few mad members jumped on him, annoyed that their Rossi-inspired "two minutes hate" was interrupted. Unlike other posters, Synn just gave a double serving back. However, I think many members will find that if you engage him in intelligent discussion, he's one of the most knowledgeable posters on the board. Give it a shot and see what happens...

When I first came around you were always easy enough to get along with.
There's always been a core majority of members here who are more followers of the sport rather than followers of Rossi and that still holds true. Powerslide has always been an oasis for those immune to Rossi's charms. For anyone else to demand that this should be toned down to reflect their sensibilities, would be the height of arrogance. Anyone who who can't bear hearing criticism of Rossi has the option to hang out with like-minded types at Crashnet. This, is not that.
As far as Synn's concerned, he's been out of control and way over the top since he arrived. He attacks everyone with personal invective regardless of how moderate or mild their views are. Mike M, is the easiest going member here and has been constantly bombarded by Synn with childish and vulgar insults. There is simply no justifying his troglodyte behavior. He's had his shot. He's burned his bridges.
