Will Edwards Retire?

Hi guys, do you think that Colin Edwards may now retire from racing following the accident at Malaysia? I have seen a few people mention it elsewhere as they did with Rossi. We know that Rossi isn't going to retire now but perhaps there's still a chance that Colin might? Afterall he has a family and he is at a suitable age to retire. Colin has signed for CRT for the 2012 racing season.

Myself personally, I do not think Colin will retire however. At first I thought he would, but seeing as we have heard nothing from him since I think he will just take this off-season to get his head back into place and focus on the upcoming season.

i think if everybody on edwards level would retire we would have tiny tiny grid....

never understood why he got so much .... on this forum because suprise surprise, as second fiddle to valentino back then he didn't win.

ever since riding the tech3 edwards is the standard for privateer riders

Hahaha....well you're referring to broadcasting.

I'm talking about before he hangs up his boots. He should give AMA a go once more to help out with the series. You know...to help garner some more interest again.

Then you can have him as a broadcaster. Deal?

If he broadcasts lets hope to god he doesnt sound anything like Scott Russel! Great rider ...... broadcaster... No one does it like Nick and Gavin, oh and I thought Lorenzo was pretty funny as well during the final broadcast from Velencia.

God Scott Russel....sounds like he's tone def. Love the guys to but he needs some inflection in that voice! lol

but what i actually meant is that i want to be able to watch the AMA races if he goes there, it was a pain in the ... to keep up with mladin/spies few years ago.-.-
