Oooooh yeah! Forgot about that. With Rossi being so far ahead of everyone back then and Stoner being so far ahead now, 1 can assume that they're speed during their first years in Moto-gp is comparable. Baz, Pov and Mental are going to love this analogy! hehe

I think both Honda and Stoner are not afraid to stir .... anymore. Especially Casey has become more vocal in these things. Noteworthy is that when he makes harsh comments, they are almost always directed at Rossi and/or Burgess. He's got an axe to grind.

Wow Stoner sure slowed down Rossi's win rate!! and overtokk him. No wonder it was a boring circus act back then
Stoner is ....... good isn't he .... to come in and trounce a guy who is at the top of his game ....... thats GOATness.
Rossi is cruizing along against fellow cruizers, the likes of Capi and Gibers, and along comes Stoner and BOOM:
Mabe thats why they call Rossi "the Doctor" ......... cos he's been calling for one since Stoner came into GP and schooled them all!.

Sure, I don't think hrc or stoner would want to tempt fate in this way in a sport where any rider is always one lose away from retirement, and in a year where jorge lorenzo at least is a significant threat even if ducati, rossi et al can't come up with a competitive bike.
Still, doesn't sound like the hrc techs hate stoner.
