Fair enough if they were the same age/started at the same time Baz, compare Caseys first 5years in Moto-gp to Rossi's. Remember Rossi is the elder statesman, his career is in decline, Casey's is climbing.

Don't you know that Rossi had no competition in those years. Geez. Only Pedrosa and Spies can be compared in such a way.
every fooker complains about .... stirring on here
so Honda do it now.themselves..Didnt take stoner long to get his poision going.
Poison Dwarf..
UPDATE: HRC_MotoGP has now removed the stats from its Twitter feed, saying "Ok ok... will remove... wasn't belittling @ValeYellow46 achievements... just comparing! #dugdeepenoughnow"

Only problem is that if you compare the first 5 years of rossi's and pedrosa's career dani comes out better.
Many odd things about this. For me the oddest is HRC (that's right HONDA) bigging up a rider, and using statistics mostly drawn from years he didn't ride for them. However many people hate stoner, it would appear that honda, at least, love him, and are not too concerned about bike sales in Italy.
Second oddest is that rossi felt the need to immediately reply on twitter. All jokes aside, rossi's record needs no defence from anyone, including him. I have to say I think it is unwise for him to buy into discussions of his status, especially his goatness, particularly while still riding.
Its not HRC really. Just one of the techos in the team. Sounds as though a bit of a slap on the wrist occurred after it too. One can only imagine how Nakamoto reacted when he saw this, he's not often a "smiley sort of chap"Don't think Stonr will like it either if and when he sees/hears about it ( mosty I'd say he keeps well away from "the talk" kinda why mindgames backfire with him )
Bit of a shame really, as we saw lately Yam and Honda Techos were having a bit of a banter sess. on Twitter, in general it showed a bit a friendly rivalry fans don't see, so it was well received. But I don't think HRC want ANYTHING to do with Rossi again, so wrist slap
