Was a shame for him as it was shaping up to be a decent weekend.
Unfortunately that's racing but like Theo said, a better weekend at Silverstone. Hopefully he can't be that unlucky twice in a row.

lol:giggle:

Are you going to Silverstone Libby?

Sadly I won't be, I am off for an op on my right wrist, that's been broken and the surgeon doesn't want me doing anything with the arm for 3 weeks, ie no more "what your right arms for" as I must admit I do like a beer or 3 at the races.:(

Yes we are going ,also going to the Young Guns dinner on Friday night there is a question answer session with our British riders Scott,Sam,our John, and some of the Red Bull Rookies,I am really looking forward to this, I love chatting to John he is so natural and so nice and funny .

Well pass on my best to John as well, but don't say I broke my arm, don't fancy jinxing him.

Anyone know if the British Talent team are renewing John's contract for next year? Not heard a thing must be a horrible suituation for John ....

Its all up in the air atm, but starting from that far off the front can't help. Do but wonder if last year has anything to do with it

From the way MCN read this week, it's not if British Talent team renewing his contract, rather if there is going to be a British Talent team next year.
Once that's decided then they need to decide what they are doing. Hopefully it isn't going to mean any decent ride in any decent championship is taken and Wee John will get a chance to shine somewhere.

I think the big problem is that "British Talent Team" is paid for by Dorna mostly and my conspiracy theory is, the Spanish hate the UK because of Brexit, so they might pull the plug.

Whilst everyone argues and 1 or 2 name call in the big boys' threads, I thought I'd pop over to the Moto3, resurrect this thead and say:
Great qualifying by the wee fella today. Hopefully running at the front and gets the result he deserved in Qatar. Great chance of a podium.

The good thing being, even without the game of mobile skittles, he would have been up and in contention.
A very impressive race from him.

Very early in FP1 I know, but the wee man is looking confident.
Whilst everyone was trying to find a tow, he is doing circuits on his tod setting a consistent fast pace. Hopefully a sign for the rest of the weekend. Long, long way to go though.

Nice one.
A good qualifying lap pace is nice to have, but fast, consistent, long race runs are where it's at.
