Good day for John yesterday and showing a lot of promise. Last 2 or 3 weekends have done him the world of good. So much so that it seems he is likely to get a top ride in Moto3 with Petronas next year. Apparently there were even offers of a Moto2 place. Hopefully that will be his next move after this one.

This weekend can just be put down as one of those ones. Cracking pace in FP2 before the heavens opened and then great battling today from the back.
Was enjoyable watching him battle through the field from last but you could see he had the pace to run with the front group of 4. And then to have contact that cost him a few places at the very last corner just sums the whole thing up.
Onwards to a "home" GP now and hopefully plenty support will see him through to a more deserved result. The announcement on next year's deal is expected as well, so that should give him a lift.

Sore one at Beckett's this morning. Hopefully doesn't knock his confidence too much for the rest of the weekend. Me and MiniMe will get the saltire down there tomorrow to cheer him on.
