As for Melandri, yeah, he was hard done by, i dont agree with the way they dealt with him. The reason Rossi gets the support he does is because a lot of people have heard of Rossi and dont know what Moto-GP is, he's frickin huge and Ducati know if 1 of the GOAT's cant win on their bike, it makes them look a little daft, that and the fact he that he brings in money, .... loads of it, like it or lump it, its true.

So the aluminum front part does not work, full carbon does not work, most likely the riding position change will not work..............I don't understand how this GP bike can be so off compared to the 1098 in WSBK who Checa can put it anywhere on the track it seems? I know it a production to a prototype but come on.....it's not rocket science once you got a good foundation which the 1098 has? I think they need to call in Bayliss
They already did call Bayliss for testing. I think he tested the GP9.

Yes they did but he is working on the Superbike and they need to bring him back to GP...for the love of GOD maybe just maybe he might get them in the right direction

The tyres are different, the engine power and output characteristic is different. The brakes are CF and hence able to generate a greater force in braking through the steering head and forks. These three are just the start of the massive differences that mean what works for a superbike will not work for a MotoGP bike

Casey was asked about the troubles rossi is encountering, he just said he knows the team are working very hard and he was as surprised as the rest of us !!!
Like i said way back im waiting to see the rossi brilliance you speak of. I expected it at round 1 then round 2 and so on. Its now near the end of season and randy and nicky are doing better than the great one...

After everything Ducati have been through in terms of pouring through top end riders, ruining their careers and then claiming the bike is ok they are finally in a situation now where the rider and feedback is as credible as it can ever be in the world of bike racing. That is part of the reason they are in such .... now, because they have been forced to tackle the actual problem, having effectively ruled out the rider and team as a factor. With all due respect Bayliss is not needed and he isn't going to fix it.
