Saying I am breaking down every thing Rossi says and finding a way to scew it or use it as some kind of evidence he's lost it, almost rejoicing in the process. Did the same thing at the end of 2007, had a lot of egg on face throughout 2008. Should have learnt something. Dont know you people very well, but notice that Talpa guy amoung others is not posting much. Realized its no fun without you guys, so hoping for a big Rossi comeback in 2012.

can rossi ride the ducati.... yes but not very well.
will he ever ride the current machine like stoner....no i dont think so.
if he was at yamaha could he beat stoner.....not so sure, honda is very strong and so is stoner.
if he was at honda could he beat stoner.... yes, he would win some and loose some.
has he lost it.... no way! may not be as nible as previous years but he still has it and anyone who thinks he doesnt is a fool.

Absolutely fair comment. If dani and even dovi can beat stoner on occasion, then so can valentino you would think. I think with the way he sets up and rides the honda with the current power delivery when conditions are suited to the hard tyre stoner would be hard for even valentino to beat regularly, but unlike the ducati rossi's and jb's expertise would be directly and immediately transferable to a honda and they could sort it to suit valentino post-haste.
The ducati clearly is absolutely unsuited to his riding style, but hasn't been suited to anyone else's apart from stoner either. This year proves that rossi is not infinitely adaptable rather than that his past success was illusory.

Do u work for Gpone? As they also suggested that he intentionally brought out the GP11.1 only to showcase what a piece of crap it was.
J4rno, it reminds me when Rossi was clearly taking digs at other riders but u interpreted it as him just being lighthearted "joking" Rossi. That we all had lost in translation.

My view on that is sure vale has won many championships. But as is clearly evident this year he needs his team of crack engineers to build him the perfect bike to do so and only when this happens he has a shot.
He has won always only on the best bike in paddock.
Sure casey is winning on the best bike this season but he also won races last year on the worst bike in the paddock.
Rossi is a good "racer" but casey is a better rider...
Hang in there though maybe in a couple of years he will podium in a wet race when half the field dnf's and you will all be singing his praises... haha
