u cant even measure pedrosas talent hes a young kid on a fast bike wholl ride it to the floor to get points he has got determination shame he forgot to get a personality.

Errrr did I say anything about Pedrosa? and when Melandri was on a Yamaha the bike had major problems. Remember that when Rossi joined Yamaha, they threw more money into development than ever.

It doesn't hurt that Burgess and the boys find him a half second in race setting every Saturday night/Sunday morning.
 
Does anyone know what he's up to? I haven't heard his name since he was Colin'd chief in 2003 with Aprilia.
 
He's been tuning in the BSB for the last few years.
My personal opinion is that CE should hook up with him, talk to Yamaha, and get Gorst in as his crew chief for next year.

A while back, Yamaha stated that Edwards is their #1 choice as Rossi's team mate next year. With Gorst onboard, this could be a totally dominant pairing...

But that's just my opinion.

I'm a bit curious as to why Yamaha didn't try to bring him on board for Edwards when he came over in 2005. The only reason they split up was because Gresini Honda had enough crew and wouldn't take him on board. Maybe Yamaha decided they had enough HRC legends in their garage.

BTW Spoone, are you a member at the CEII forum?

Yeah, I was going to say that they've been down for like a week and a half over there. I noticed his fancy for the number 5 as well, not sure if he'll have the same luck with it as he did in WSB but I'm hoping for him.

What do other people think about Ant? Think he deserves a break?

I know that he has plenty of offers for next year, some 250, some MotoGP and even WSBK/WSS..

The strongest links ive heard, are Stiggy in WSS, Gilera and Kiefer (maybe a bike upgrade) in 250s and Team KR in MotoGP, how good would Westy go on KRJnrs bike..

If Ant gets a ride on a Honda next year, ill be over the moon

sorry .... but westy hasn't got a fan in me ... but theres a few others round here that like him, i think.

met him a few years back at eastern creek wen he was racing in formula xtreme or watever it was and he's raced against two of my bro's ...

the kid has got talent ... just hasn't got luck running on his side unfortunatly. ... i'd like to see how he'd do on a fully supported honda in the 250's next year, but a step up to the 800's would be interesting. there was rumour a little while ago of westy being on the new Ilmor engine ... but that was just a ton of ...., he hadn't even heard of it

I believe you! Chill woman...................I just thought it was funny that he hadnt heard of the Ilmor project that he was linked as a rider, shows how much BS there is out there!

just goes to show how much ........ some people are prepared to make up ... i mean the amount of rumours flying atm about max biaggi is incredible ... i have not heard one rumor that is the same ... and max was supposedly even linked to the ilmor engine too!
