The mole is on pole

What a superb qualifying hour.................simply stunning perfomance from Vermolen.......also Hayden was very impressive too, right down to the wire!

Too bad Nicky went too deep in his last split, would have been on pole. What a great session, Vermeulen had control of it from the go.

Vermuelen was impressive, and Hayden too (he was on aquaphobic Michelins!)

It's quite surprising to see the Suzukis with the highest top speeds. It shows that the bike is very stable, they can brake much later than the others.

I thought Kenny would be faster than he actually was, he is (or used to be) a great wet surface specialist.

Randy is also a wet track specialist I had put a bet on him finishing top 3 today when I saw the rain pouring down in Istambul this morning but just missed it by 2 spots.

Good showing by Suzuki and well done to the Mole.. what the heck has happened to Rossi though? I can only assume front end chatter again...

I expected to see KRJ up amongst the front runners too, esp in the wet..oh well Gibbers is placed well lets hope he finishes.

the mole!! come on my son, getting me some points at long last!! Nicky's got the win though i feel tomorrow! umm what else, Rossi.. dont count him out, u never ....... know! and Ellison, very dissapointed! specially as it was wet! GRR

Edwards is still saying he has chatter although Rossi says his is gone for the most part. What I have read is Rossi is really struggling to find rear grip.

thought when i cranked the ol pc up, went to the site & saw it raining was gonna be the same "rain specialists" at the front for a predictable quali session. man what a pleasant surprise! that had to be 1 of the most interesting sessions i've seen i some time! hat's of to the mole.... frggin awesom! hayden man...... i still can't believe he nearly snatched it in the last lap like that. after his previous wet weather performances i never would of guessed! sete the only wet weather regular up there very good & loris never been to the track before very impressive. i thougt the bridgestone guys were gonna run off with it & they nearly did. no excuses for the other michelin runners.
