Man, Dean is fast.
He's been knocking on the door for a while now, but, whilst looking game at the North West this year, I didn't have him down to be this quick on the Island.

Thing is all the top guys barring Dunlop are running the same machines as last year so they're going to be more used to them combine that with the dry roads, the speeds are up straight away however it is due to rain over there at some point next week, so race laps might not be as quick with the rubber washed away.

I'd go for that as well, well said :)

It seems to rain there every year at some point, sad to see William Dunlop has pulled out because of injury, but he'll be back. :)

Yeah it's normally in practice week when the .... weather hits, rain is actually forecast for the Isle of Man tonight but looking ok Thursday and while it's looking likely to rain on Friday it seem to be in the morning.

Put it this way they're in much better shape than they were this time last year.

Is it an injury with William? I know he was knocked about after the North West but the report I saw said "personal reasons"

Hopefully, when it's not raining, it will also dry up quick enough, especially under the trees, to get a good few more practice laps in.

I don't know sorry, mate. The first thing I heard about it was on here.

According to the long range forecast apart from tonight and Friday it's looking pretty fine right up to the end of the TT. Surely can't be as bad as last year which was ....... horrendous, I've never known a TT like it, it was a miracle that only one race got canned.

On the flip side I'd also never known a TT like 2016 either where it was perfect for the entire 2 weeks.

One more day of good practice and a dry race week will see me right for another year.

Practice started but has been red flagged due to a tree on fire. Expecting rain at 7:45.

Some serious .... has gone down on the island tonight and the changing of the scheduled TT show on TV has me a bit worried, apparently a rider is in hospital after colliding with a course car at Ballacrye.
