Jumkie I watch NASCAR from time to time because it's the only racing on right now. Not the greatest but at least it's racing. That being said, I still bash the fans. Sorry. I made some pretty rude remarks on the site but I also said to each his own. I know there are plent of California boys who grew up racing carts that make up NASCAR now so it's not the inbred circus it once was. But it's still fun to make fun of the portion that is.

I love all racing, including NASCAR.To be honest, aside from bike racing,it is my second favorite. The word fan comes from fanatic and believe me when i say,NASCAR has loyal FANS and they wouldnt have it any other way.I was at a race in Atlanta when Jeff Gordon had difficulties early in the race, much to the delight of the Dale Jr mob that makes up about 2\3 of the fan base. For the next 200 laps as Gordon struggled around the track trying to make minimum speed, these 2 Yahoo's [Dale Jr fans]rose from their seats and flipped Gordon the bird.Every Damn Lap.I was laughing so hard i about got sick.A friend that was with me for his first Nascar race was dumbfounded.I started telling them, hey,i think he saw that one,do it again, and like clock work, every 30 seconds there they went, flipping Gordon the bird.It was classic NASCAR.

We get this as well though its not just NASCAR fans. When Kiyonari won the BSB title last year some members of the crowd were booing him as he celebrated. I don't think attitudes like these should be welcome in motorsports.

Agreed. Fair enough people can support a certain rider, but they should show respect regardless.
